We were told this was a great fish restaurant. Indeed it was. I had one of the best spaghetti ai frutti di mare of my life and my wife a tipical pasta with mandorle and tomatos. We also had a superbly grilled spigola and excellent pugliese white wine. The staff were professional but kind, efficient but warm. An excellent night... More

My wife and I went to Osteria Punto e a Capo a couple of nights ago. The service was very good and the seafood really made our visit most worthwhile. If you are visiting Giovinazzo and like seafood I would recommend this osteria

Last review of this resto seemed to be 2014. Gave it a try anyway, great fresh seafood, attentive staff, lots of locals, don't know why no reviews. Our take- great fresh seafood. The restos along the square all cooperate with one another, so if someone wants pizza they get it for you from next door and vice versa. Deserves more... More

I stopped in here late at night on a Tuesday. Chef prepared orecchiette with "ragu di polpo" or octopus sauce. Washed down with a glass of white wine, it was delicious. Owner happily speaks English, as well.

We enjoyed our superbly fresh fish lunch here very much. The chef is an expert with fish. The local white wine complemented the dishes perfectly. Our host took a great deal of trouble ensuring we were looked after. In the summer time this place will be buzzing! Enjoy your experience on the square in this delightful town. Ciao.

I must admit that I've been pleasantly surprised by dining in this amazing place. I was born in this region and this is one of the few places where you can enjoy amazing local and fresh seafood together with an international twist in the food presentation and combination. The service is extremely attentive and kind. Ask for a recommendation on... More

As soon as the waiter seated us and realized we were Americans, he was very thoughtful about assisting us with our orders. The menu was, of course, in Italian and we are quite limited in our understanding of the language. He informed us that the restaurant would prepare whatever we might enjoy. We settled on a pasta dish as first... More

We picked Giovinazzo by chance and very lucky chance at that since it's a gorgeous town, the historic center is beautiful. Wanting lunch, tired and hot, we wandered in here and boy what a wonderful lunch! We shared an appetizer of mussels and clams in the most exquisite broth, accompanied by Altamura bread (the bread was super fresh and the... More

We stopped off here for a light lunch on our last day of our holiday as the town is very close to Bari airport, we had no expectations of anything special and so were very nicely surprised by the excellent lunch. We had the 5 hot and 5 cold seafood tasters for 2 people. It was so well presented and... More

Best dining experience. We were passing through town for the night and this restaurant let us sit down for dinner early. Our waiter Raffaele was so nice and arranged a delicious 3 course meal. Seafood appetizers of octopus, fried anchovies, shrimp and bruchetta with mussels. Pasta dish with octopus, mussels, clams, shrimp, and crab. A meat dish with grilled lamb... More
