Reviewed the place 2 years ago and service still well meaning but a bit hit and miss. The waiters were cheerful though the manageress was still over serious though efficient. Food was nice and the view is sublime- across the rock strewn beach to the islands. I can understand the change in direction but it is a shame that there... More

We had a wonderful 3 course lunch is this lovely restaurant, which was spotlessly clean and buzzing with locals. The food was all freshly prepared and beautifully presented by the owner and young waiter. Great value. Will return.

Tasteless cold fish soup, moules ok but not cleaned properly, so very gritty, plus had to pay extra for frites. Some people got nibbles with their aperitifs, others did not. The people at the next table had to ask twice for bread The only tip I would have left for the indifferent service would be - do better!

This restaurant was next to our campsite (Ar Kleguer), so it was great to be able to walk there and back and enjoy the wonderful view over the bay. The three-course menu for around 17 euros was good value, and half a carafe of rose wine at 8 euros complemented the meal. The presentation of my starter of 'marinated fruits... More

Probably our favourite place in St Pol. It gets busy, but then it is a superb location with views over the estuary and bay, and next to the camp/ caravan site. Excellent service, good sea food etc, range of beers, cider and wines, and the owners speak good English (went to uni. in Plymouth~)

Should have walked straight out when I smelt the damp doggy wiff in the air inside. 3 poor spider crabs kept in a dirty old tank (advertised as fresh, maybe when they went into the green water). Menu of the day was salad to start, battered cheap cut of beef and frozen chips and dessert was not identifiable I'm afraid.... More

It was too windy to sit outdoors, but still we had a nice seaview from our table next to the window. Our dog was allowed inside as well and was served a bowl of water which was a bonus. The local food and drinks were very good and reasonably priced. The staff spoke fluent English and took their time to... More

Seemed a little odd place. No coherent theme or decor to the establishment. All the time we were there, I got the feeling of being just another tourist to maintain their income. All interactions with the waitresses, although pleasant, felt fake/forced. Just like restauranteering was their forced life sentence.Food ok but a bit too expensive for the calibre of establishment.
