We came here for dinner and like the ambience of the cafe. Quite popular with locals. They offer local hawker food and some western dishes and are well done for their steam bread/bun. i thought the food was a bit of a hit and miss. We ordered a selection of western and local dishes and found the local char okay... More

Had lunch at this franchise restaurant at Straits Quay. They have a menu of Malaysian cuisine from toasted bread to dim sums, noodles, satay and rice. You make your choices and write them down on the order form, the staff pick up your order and you wait for your food. Service was reasonably quick and the food was ok. Nothing... More

It's a cafe that does pretty good food, fast. There is a reasonable amount to choose from the menu, the prices are reasonable, and the service is good. We had laksa & a noodle dish & both tasted good. The fruit juice soda was pretty good too.

This is a great restaurant if you are in a hurry. When you sit down you get an order card, you write down what you want and press a call button. They pick up your card, make your food and bring it back. When you are done you press the "bill" button. Quick and easy. The food is diner quality,... More

Since being refurbished I feel that the restaurant has lost lots of appeal. The advertising states and gives the patron a feeling that the menu has been modified to taste better and the staff encouraging. My experience was well below expectations. The food has not improved and the service is the same. The new electronic numbers board detracts from the... More

Located in Straits Quay, this restaurant has just so many dishes on offer, be it European, vegetarian, noodles, dim sun etc etc, very reasonably prices, nice service and friendly staff, something for everyone, you will not be disappointed

Really enjoyed the quality and service of food here compared to the franchised version in my own country, Australia. The restaurant is uncluttered and well located in Langkawi with fresh ingredients and offering meals and drinks described in there menu's to the letter. I traveled in quiet season of Ramadan and it was very enjoyable. Thanks Papa Rich.

"local"dishes of poor quality. Any foodcourt does much better at a better price. Service is slow and not overly friendly. The view is nice and the breeze is pleasant (if there is any).

Rather bland tasting food and overpriced. Chicken noodle soup had little taste. Wouldn't return there's better places around.

Already been in KL Pappa Rich and liked it. This one at Penang is terrible. We ordered five different dishes and only one was acceptable, not wery tasty but just ok to eat. Spring rolls were extremely small, curry more spicy than curry, rice sticky, pao very strange. Waiter couldn't answer even simple question what is inside pao, only muttered... More
