The fish and chips’ quality, quantity and price are good. Fish was fresh. Calamris were a bit stringy. Service however was not so good. It wasn’t terrible but needs improvement. I sat outside and was left waiting for more than 10 minutes. When I eventually...did get served, it was courteous. Wine price is reasonable.More

This is probably the longest-surviving restaurant in Penang that specialises in authentic (i.e. beer-battered) "fish & chips". Plus the fish that they use are of good quality as well... ranging from tilapia to barramundi as well as cod. Even if you're not keen on fish,...they also have a seafood platter, as well as chicken. Strongly recommended for "fish & chips" lovers....More

We went there as a family of three and ordered drinks, fish and chips and fried fish filet including one starter soup (they also offer a kids menu). While the fish and chips were served a few minutes later, we neither received our drinks nor...the starter. When we asked the never smiling waiter, we got the drinks immediately but the soup came only half way through the main course. Same happened at the neighbouring table. In the end we payed an additional 10% service charge and a 6% service tax on top.More

Good place if you are fish lovers. But you can getting other seafood like prawn, etc. Surprisingly you can also getting chicken over here.

Came here at 5pm on a weekday and was told only fish and chips was available until 6pm. Did what was told and ordered that. Came 5.20pm Nd another customer walked in, this customer was offered the full menu and was allowed to order anything?!...Just find it unacceptable and disappointingMore

Went for dinner in party of 7 - 3 adults and 4 children. Food took an hour to arrive after ordering. Servers all had different excuses - mainly blaming the computer. No apology. When the bill arrived, I refused to pay the 10% service charge...and was told it could not be removed. Instead they removed drinks to that amount. No sense that the appalling service should have led to a complimentary dessert or drinks. Would not return as they obviously have no training that the customer should be treated well.More

Nice set up ..overlooking the quay. Staffs are friendly and the food is okay and reasonably priced for the area.

After all the rice and noodles I've been eating, I needed a little western break. They had a selection of five different fish for fish and chips at market price. I chose grouper which was very good. I had a caesar salad and a cold...beer to wash it all down.More
