My wife and I ordered laksa assam (basah) & laksa lemak as well as cucur udang (prawn fritters) and bankuan spring rolls. Awesomely delicious. The ingredients seemed fresher than perhaps any laksa we've ever tasted before. The variety (assam, lemak, mixed) in one venue is...pretty unique. Also, the owner and staff were very helpful to help my wife sort out what she should and shouldn't try in light of her gluten sensitivity. We highly recommend this place.More

From speaking to locals and other tourists, you will either really love the flavours of the laksa here, or you will just think it is so so. [Maybe it depends on how much laksa you have ever eaten!!] Therefore I recommend that you just go...and try it out for yourself! We tried all three laksas (Nyonya, Asam and mixed). We ordered spring rolls one day, and fried bananas the other. We also ordered some extra crackers too. At RM1, this was a bargain. Most of the prices are really reasonable actually. A bowl of laksa won't even set you back RM10. That's like 2 euros!! On the two occasions we went, there were only a few people in the restaurant, but this was due to the RMCO making most places quiet. Therefore the atmosphere wasn't completely great but we didn't mind. On the second occasion, the lad working there wanted us to sit up in the cafe, but there is no window there and the place was empty, so we asked to go back downstairs and sit near the window. I feel that especially at a time like this, it's important to support the restaurants in Georgetown. The lack of tourists right now is making things dire. Laksalicious really relies on the great rating at Tripadvisor (much deserved), and I definitely think it is what will help boost their business. So please go and support if you are ever in the area!More

What a discovery for those looking for Laksa and other local delicacies. Loved the prawn fritters (cucur udang) and the laksa hits the mark! We also tried the cempedak goreng as recommended, and it was just lovely.. :)

Pleasant restaurant with friendly staff. Good food well presented... the prawn fritters cucur udang and the sago gula Melaka dessert were very well prepared. Would recommend this restaurant to others looking for local food in a quiet clean restaurant

Cozy place with warm service, Asam laksa is delicious with a prawn cracker and not needed to wait for long time to serve. Worth visiting.

Don’t usually post reviews on TripAdvisor food food, but this restaurant was just too good. This is definitely a hidden gem in Penang. Environment was extremely comfortable and clean. The staff were also very friendly. Food was actually great. We particularly love the laksa, prawn...crackers, gula melaka coffee and cendol(the cendol was much better than the famous Penang Teochew cendol). We will definitely be coming back again!More

Found the restaurant on TripAdvisor and was not disappointed. Clean restaurant and yummy Laksa. They even have a vegetarian Laksa which was perfect for the vegetarians in our group. Also enjoyed the other dishes from the menu. So happy that even went back a second...time during our time in Penang. 😊More
