I went there with my family for dinner and really enjoyed our time there. The food just like the other dintaifung in other countries which was great! We ordered soup, fried noodle, fried rice, dumplings, etc. I've tried dintaifung in Singapore and Indonesia so I know what I expected. The only minus about dintaifung is the price 😂 $$$$

This restaurant is located in Guerney Plaza. It's always popular, sometimes with a long queue of people waiting to get a table. Once inside, service is efficient and friendly. The food is always a very high standard with simply superb dumplings made on site. You can watch the dumpling makers through a window into the kitchen. Great cold drinks. Highly... More

Part of a global chain of restaurants specialising in dumplings. Generally speaking, they are similar in taste and experience. I have tried the original in Taipei and it is the best but Hong Kong is quite good but this one in Penang was not really up to the standard. Service was ordinary and impersonal. Food was not what I expected

I have already been three times in this popular place, all three times for lunch in between shopping errands. The queue outside at peak hours is telling: this a favourite place among locals. Patrons can order their dishes on forms, leave them and come back later, to spare themselves the waiting. Very practical. Decoration is sober and more in Japanese... More

Nice place where the food is fresh and very good. They also propose some chinese tea that is changing from water or juice. Menu is easy to understand and the meals correspond to the pictures in the menu. Good price/quality ratio.

If you have not eaten at one of this famous franchises, this is a good opportunity to try since there is no line, cheaper than the ones in Taipei, Shanghai or Southern California. In a mall, next to the G Hotel Gurney.

This is the third time that I have been to a Din Tai Fung, having previously tried it in Hong Kong and Sydney. Those times I had excellent experiences and had very high expectations for this one. While tasty, the Penang branch didn't quite live up to those expectations. I found the Pork Xiao Long Bao a bit too dry,... More

Went here late night just before they closed. Dim sum and no idle soup as well as several "greens" dishes. Hit the spot and good food just not fantastic. Sill to complain but just trying to be honest.
