This restaurant unfortunately had a fire in 2015 and the building is no longer around. It will be sadly missed

September 5th, 2015, we had dinner at Dixie Lee in Eganville. We arrived around 6:30 pm and the closing time was 8:00 p.m. We each ordered a Greek Salad for starters and Strip Sirloin Steak for our main course. After waiting approximately a half hour...More
This restaurant is a little weird, because it is both a take-out Dixie Lee joint, and a sit-down family restaurant with an expanded menu. The take-out chicken is fine. The sit-down experience is poor. The servers are poorly trained, awkward, and say "yous" without irony....More

My wife and I have stopped at this restaurant a few times for breakfast on trips to and from Ottawa. Our previous experiences have been nothing really special but the food and service were OK. We stopped there for lunch recently and it was a...More
As we arrived I overheard one of the regulars ask our waitress how she was, and she replied 'b!tchy'...and well...we got to experience it firsthand. The was a chalkboard sign advertising 'hawaiin meatballs' but when my son was overheard saying he wanted them a head...More
Stopped by for a sunday lunch. Very few people in the restaurant the server was rude and complaining about all the people in the restaurant (4 other tables not including ours) we order 2 kids drinks and asked for a few more minutes to read...More
This is a rustic restaurant that serves diner comfort foods. The prices are reasonable. It was short-staffed however, resulting in less than stellar service. That may be different when staff are not out sick.
