It's a private area and the decor for the restaurant makes it higher class than others. Definitely a choice if you like to entertain some business people or artists (given all the concerts going on). However, dont expect too much on the food side. Service wasn't good, not attentive enough, and perhaps use more chinese in explaining menu will help.

As a Silver Card Genting member, I booked a day earlier for lunch last Saturday for three (mum and wife), as tables were most often fully booked, whether for lunch or dinner. My family have been patronizing the Min Ren restaurant every time we visited Genting Highlands for many years even before the restaurant was moved to the present location.... More

Enjoyed dinner here. Not your typical restaurants elsewhere like a market place without private/personal space. Reservation has to be made, if you don't wanna leave it to chance.

The food was good, tastes delicious. The ambient is good. The price is quite reasonable for the food. It's a bit steep compare the others restaurants in Genting. Restaurant is always fully booked, so early booking is a must.

Need to make reservation in advance during weekend. The food was delicious and the price is not too expensive for price in genting.

Nice ambiance and very friendly, helpful staff. Although the restaurant specializes in lamb dishes, other dishes were good as well. There's a dress code for MEN: only covered shoes, no sandals or shorts. Reservations recommended.

On 2 previous occasions - tried to walk in but fully booked. So made a reservation the 3rd time. Not too big restaurant, maybe about 15 tables of vary sizes. Was earlier than crowd, so service was quite fast. The dishes we ordered were above our expectations. The XO Chicken Fried Rice and Curry Lamb were so yummy. Prices abit... More

The food was very nice and tasty in Chinese style. All the food we ordered was very nice except abalone soup the taste like plain water. Very good service, clean and free wifi in the restaurant.

Little surprised to see this restaurant being so lost ranked. We had dinner for a family of 6 and had quite a few dishes. My favourite was the fried chicken in salted egg yolk. The service was good and the ambience of the restaurant was really nice. Located at genting hotel, would recommend this for a great dinner option!
