The "everything" personal-sized pizza is more than enough and has some great taste combinations going on. The roast beef + Yorkshire was true comfort food and seemed like your sweet Grandma might have prepared it for you. Great service, no pushy or rushing you but attending to whatever you need. A really nice place, downtown, a nice break from chain... More

Very friendly waiter, but did not find our meal to be anything special. The salad was not as fresh as I would have expected it to be.

This is the third time we have eaten here and we have not been disappointed. Budget friendly home-style food with great burgers, home made soups and good fast service. Seems popular with local families, children, trvellers and seniors.

The service is great, food is good and they have a dining area, and a pub. It is where most locals go for fun. A lot of college kids there on weekends.

I love going to the Grand- the décor could use an update- but the food is amazing and well priced- they make a great steak and I love that they buy their meat from Nesbitt's (locally). Their staff are always fast and friendly and they are quick to address the rare issue that comes up.

Went for a mid afternoon lunch so it wasn't busy. Server was friendly and helpful. Men's washrooms need some maintenance work like stall door latch that has been missing for a long time and it needs a good cleaning. Had a number of flies I had to keep swatting away while sitting at my table. Got the riblets with sweet... More

Two of us had liver and onions. Could have been bigger portion of liver. Vegetables were not very good. Would not order that again

Went to the Grand with friends for dinner last night. I had the hot wing dinner and it was pretty good. The wings should be larger as they were pretty tiny. My husband had the chicken parm and said it was good. Our friend had the schnitzel and was disappointed that it was not breaded.

Description
The Grand Experience has been a Lindsay staple for decades. Encompassing half a city block, it's become known to local patrons as the place that has 'something for everyone'. Originally known has the Market Hotel, the building occupied a position of importance in Lindsay's shopping area in the late 1800's. The Queens Square was where farmers would display their wares each and every week, with The Grand being a spot for the travelling merchants and their horses to stay while they were in the Lindsay area. Fast forward to the early 1980's, when The Grand Experience restaurant was added to the The Grand building, giving Lindsay a popular dining spot to go along with the well known Grand Pub. As of today, The Grand is owned and operated by Charlie McDonald since 2010. Since Charlie's arrival, The Grand Experience has seen several renovations to better accommodate his customers, so if you haven't been to The Grand lately, you should take an evening, stop by for dinner and check out The Grand Experience!
