Our plan was to go there merely because we wanted something quick to eat, because we only went up there for the view. The view from there is fantastic by the way. On to the food. We got the baby goat with polenta. I'm not even crazy about polenta but I loved their. The baby goat was to die for.

David, one of the sons of the Caprini family was our teacher, and he was excellent. He showed us how to mix the ingredients, prepare the dough, roll it the way his grandmother tought him, and cut it after to make the perfect tagliatelle his family is famous for. We enjoyed very much, learning from his experience, and we had... More

This local trattoria is a hidden gem, the food is really something. We had both dinner and lunch here and all dishes were tasty and prepared with Italian care and love. Recommend this for lovers of authentic Italian food. Staff was ever so friendly and prompt.

This is one of the few authentic trattorias in the area where you have the fortune to enjoy real homemade pasta, especially fettuccine. This dish is served with different sauces, but I definitely recommend the ragout even though also truffles is highly demanded. Then as a main course there is an array of beefs to choose from and among those... More

Good solid pasta dishes. Many good local choices for Amarone wine. Prices are fairly reasonable, and the service is very good. Had a wonderful time.

We enjoyed excellent pasta and a wonderful bottle of wine! There is a set menu and we were surprised that the portions were so large (which was great, of course) and the price was low, only 28 euros each. We would definitely eat here again!

This restaurant takes a great deal of pride in what they do. Food was excellent from the pasta to the lamb. Beautiful setting.

I can't say enough about the perfectly made, perfectly cooked, elegantly fine pasta I had at Trattoria Caprini. So delicious! The only thing that could top it was the dessert of cherries topped with vanilla ice cream -- so good! A wonderful meal in Negrar!

We were looking for this restaurant and almost mistook a bar on the first floor (that has nothing to do with Caprini) for this restaurant. We wouldn't have found this excellent place if a local woman hadn't told us that it was up one flight. Upstairs we found a large clean, bright welcoming room. We were delighted to discover that... High up in the hills of the valpolicella region, Trattoria Caprini is a delight. An all local menu certainly gets the tastebuds tingling and the pasta is absolutely divine. Very welcoming and friendly staff, clean, and with locals dining at the next table, I imagine it is a favourite in the region. I think they also offer pasta making lessons,... More
