In the context of an international airport, the value for money is quite OK, and it is always a pleasure to have a break and lunch there before flying. Be it alone when traveling for business or with the family. Sometimes for sushi, sometimes for a nice wine of glass (very interesting selection, nothing to compare with the other drinks... More

An ideal restaurant to hace a quick but high quality seafood lunch. My favourite are the 6 oysters with a glass of cava. Good price quality relation. The bouillabaise and instant made Sushi plates are also great. I wish every airport had a restaurant like Black Pearls!

My wife and I had to beat hours in transit.Due to the run-down lounge food "Brussels-Airlines-Style" we went there.Very friendly service. The sushis available were really ok, even if - of course one should say - far more expensive than elsewhere. The selection of wines was more thant I shuold have hoped for, knowing the pitiable wine they give away at... More

The most important thing here is what do you compare this place to. If your benchmark are the down-town sushi places then Black Pearls is certainly too expensive and far from being a top-notch food choice. However, if you are a frequent traveller and have tried sushi at other airports, you will be pleasantly surprised by the freshness of the... More

Had a very pleasant plate of smoked salmon with a glass of white wine on October 25th. I can't get over the fact that the restaurant charged me 10 times, i.e. 393 euros and refuse to reimburse me for the difference. Even my bank can't get them to pay me back. They are simply dishonest. Don't got there!

View on the airport from the connector is nice, which attracted me to try out sushi. Price is relatively high comparing to other sushi places in Belgium. Service is quick (I was almost alone though). Biggest disappointment was sushi itself: none of them tasted fresh, rice felt like having been too long in the fridge and I have had better... More

Last Friday I wanted to have dinner before the flight. When I entered the lady at the counter told me I can choose any place I want. I choose the table near the window, which was empty but not cleaned. I was waiting for 20 minutes for the waitress with the menu. When the waitress arrived, I told her that... More

When you’re in a good mood, because you’re heading for a sunny destination, it’s always nice to have a good meal instead of the stuff you get on the plain… We choose for “Black Pearls” a seafood restaurant with also sushi on the menu. The waitress started with the news that we had to have some patience, because it could... More
