Due to the good recommendation we visited the restaurant. We had a burger (20€) and a crepe with vegetables (14€). The burger patty as well as the roll were both the same style as in every fastfood restaurant. Very disappointing.

I'm an Englishman now spending half the year in Cargèse, where I've spent more than five of the last 25 years. I've no personal connection with Le Continental beyond being a regular customer: it's one of my very favourite places here to eat. From the hotel dining room, which looks out over the main road towards sunset over Pero bay,... More

We saw many people on the terrace and that is always a good sign. We had lunch and were not disappointed at all. The lamb 'souris' was very good cooked and my husband liked the vegetarian galette also. The self made dessert Gastronomique was just enough to make the lunch perfect. When we pass this village again we will surely... More

We were pleasantly surprised by this restaurant, which had been recommended to us by another restaurant in the village (where I had asked for a gluten-free meal which they couldn't provide). The standard of cuisine is high, with presentation to match. The service was efficient, although not particularly warm. Price was among the highest we paid during our week, but... More

Food was good and reasonably priced. I thought it was better food than at the St. Jean next door which charged way more. Service was good. Only thing is you are sitting next to a kind of busy road if you are outdoors. But having tried several places in town, I returned to this one twice and was happy I... More

I was in Cargese for almost 2 weeks, had dinner here with various groups at least 4 times... Food is great and special - "classic" dishes that come with a twist either through a local product here (chestnut fritters) or some fancy technique there (salted caramel with scallops, basil foam with pasta). Interesting and exciting (though a bit on the... More

We took the menu of the day and was perfect. The desert also. An excellent place to eat, plus if you chose to be served on the terasse the sea view is beautiful.
