Flavor was good, but the meat was mostly bones, surprising for a lace who has a butcher shop behind building? rice and beans were the best I had on the island!

Stopped here on the way to the East End resort we were staying. Wanted a good local spot and took a chance. Tried Jerk Chicken and Ox Tale. Both very tasty and sauces just right. Had 'festival ' also which was like a fresh cake donut. Mango-Strawberry fruit smoothie helped cool things down. Met some locals while waiting and super... More

Just get the jerk things, don't bother with the other stuff. Jerk chicken is to die for! Prepare to wait a while for food to be done, maybe 20 min or so. Good for takeout, or you can sit at the tables, with chickens for company, but you might be feeling self conscious about eating their friends :)

This is definitely a "local" eat and judging by the cars coming and going, a local favourite. It is best to call ahead for your order to avoid prolong wait time.

I had lunch at Rankin's Jerk a few days ago and enjoyed my delicious jerk pork, rice and peas with tasty corn bread on the side. The atmosphere was relaxed and conducive to good conversation.

We ate at Rankins after eating seafood every day and just wanted a change. We had here pork and chicken. Not cut like we are used to, the pieces were cut fairly random. The food was very good, and cheap. They have outside tables to eat or take it back to the place where you're staying. Good food, but nothing... More

We were staying at the TurtleNest Inn in Bodden town and had been out all day & really didn't feel like going out to dinner. Rankin's was suggested by the proprietor at TNI and since it was just 5 mins down the road we stopped by. I had heard the portions were generous, so my husband & I split a... More

After work stopped to get some Jerk but ended up curried goat which was very flavorful but had more bones than meat. The curried goat came with salad, a bite of mac and cheese, and plenty of red beans and rice. My friend got the jerk chicken and said it wasn't that great. Now the mango drink was absolutely great... Very good jerk pork and chicken. Could have used some sides (but perhaps we missed this when ordering). We got large orders of both and had them for dinner and lunch the next day
