'Jack el Negro' is recommended as a TOP CHOICE by the Lonely Planet. Today me and my travel partner went there for a meal. As starters we had canarian cheese and avocado with shrimps. Both pretty expensive (8 €) and not the tastiest but still sort of okay. Then we got our means. Tuna was really really dry and tastless.... More

And the prices are very reasonable. The staff are very friendly and attentive, and I wouldn't mind another visit, before we go home.

Went for dinner with my father and we enjoyed of a nice grilled baby squid, fried pepp t bone steak for me and some lamb cutlet for my daddy. Tasty and tender meat cooked on the hash of a beautiful camin, good service even if a bit messy and disorganised but at the same time quick, friendly and efficient. Indeed... More

This is a rustic place that seems to have the same staff year after year. It serves VERY GOOD food from a basic kitchen. Sometimes they cook the meat over wood in the entrance. Try the Rabbit - its very good. WARNING - It does NOT take credit cards

The restaurant is away from the beach and is quite original with a fire on the left as you enter and tables with candles. Certainly looks quite pretty and definitely warm. We ordered a pizza, salad and Canary potatoes. It was good but not outstanding. The service was good and the waiters attentive. We enjoyed it and would go back.

Third visit to this restaurant. Previously, last January, it was good. The rustic appearance and decor is quite appealing but these are not enough to rate highly. The service, although friendly, was erratic. My lasagne was very tasty though over salty. No offer of Parmesan or pepper which I expect from a decent restaurant. My wife's pizza arrived ten minutes... More

Visited a few times before so knew what to expect...pizza/steak rustic atmosphere. No problem with that. On this occasion the waiter was vile....to be honest we should have walked out. Dishes were being delivered wrongly to different diners...staff literally shouting amonst themselves re messed up orders...chucking cutlery on the table - dirty stained menus. I asked for wine list he... More

We went along on the basis of Trip Advisor and Lonely Planet...how dissapointed were we? Menus flung at us, looked out over a building site, chose tapas. Oh it was so awful, greasy, warm and a total rip off. Other dinners seemed to have chosen Pizza, looked okay, but nothing special. Will we go again? Never, and we stay in... More
