Arriving at night, we did not feel much for leaving the hotel for dinner. There was no need - the hotel's restaurant was very satisfactory indeed, both with regard to food and drinks - as well as service. Recommendable!

Big portions, but not very well prepared. Simply lacking in flavour and rather heavy. Service is friendly.

Another wonderful visit to the Edelweiss two years after the last one. The food is to die for, and the service really friendly and efficient. The a la carte menu is fantastic, and in spite of its size, the place has a really good atmosphere.

Our entire experience was first rate! Excellent food and drink, our waiter was so sweet and after the meal in the bar there was a traditional Tyrollean dancing and music show. This made our first time in Austria a truly memorable event. I felt it...was very reasonably priced for a resort town. I live in a very popular ski town in the States and the prices were better here and the service better too. A lovely time in a beautiful setting. Would come back again for sure.More

Vegatables are sometimes undercooked. The rest is good. We had half board. So there was a chouise every day out of four main courses

I did enjoy my meal very much in the comfort of this very nice restaurant. The menu was extensive and the waiters friendly and attentive. Sometimes they also offer a buffet, but I chose the a la carte menu and was pleased with my meal...and the service. The menu also offers many "snack" meals and you will receive the same service as those ordering one, two or three course meals. This is not an expensive restaurant even though it is part of a very good and popular hotel. Bar prices were also reasonable.More

Don't miss the applestrudel with hot vanillla sauce. It is the best I ever had. The rest of the dinner was also delicious. Highly recommend. The service was great too. We ended up returning there the next day.

Good service, nice location and great food. Highly recommend the famous but mysterious edelweiss desert with secret ingredients.

We went here in spring 2015. The waiter was very helpfull and friendly. Their was a wide variaty in the dishes. Fast service and very good quality of the food. Everything was fresh and tastefull. Karl-heinz, the waiter, is a real pro!

We really enjoyed our stay at hotel Edelweiss. The swimming pool inside and outside was a real winner with small kids. The rooms were spacious and there was a separate room for the kids. Nice! Only thing that I found a pity, is that the...food for the kids was not really healthy (fries, chicken nuggets, baked potatoes, pizza,...), but then again they would give a small portion of the daily menu for the smaller guests if you you asked for it. Maybe adding some vegetables to the kids menu, rice or cooked potatoes would do the trick. Also, there was a possibility to smoke at the bar inside at the lobby - not so cosy if your kids are running around. For the rest, a good hotel to which we will possibly return in the future.More
