Tasty, typical cheapie Chinese, I wouldn't recommend it but then again I wouldn't slate it. We are spoilt in LONDON for top quality food and Barbados seems to struggle with certain types of food. I've been coming for 20 years and there is much room for improvement with a lot of questions most of which are overrated. I've tried all... More

We ordered takeout and it was quite good. Their shrimp specialty was delicious as was the curry. (We had to wait longer than one would expect because they had to thaw some shrimp, but it was worth it.) If you are in Speightstown and looking for Chinese food, you won't go wrong eating here.

We always order a takeaway from East Moon a couple of times on each visit to Barbados and it never disappoints. Generous portions, tasty food which looks familiar but has a Bajan twist. Call ahead for a prompt pick up.

This Chinese is a short walk from where we stay and we usually visit once. The food is much the same as a UK Takeaway or basic Chinese restaurant. However it is cheerfully served and great value. One interesting dish we had was Chinese beef curry.Tbh it did not taste like the regular Chinese curry we get with its hint... More

Large portions, average food. If you're msg intolerant, don't go. Otherwise as good as a Chinese/Cantonese takeaway in the U.K.

If you have a moment travelling between Bridgetown and Speightstown, stop in at the East Moon restaurant. With a relaxed atmosphere, the food is very good. There are specialty dishes that offer a combination of Chinese and Bajan flair. Very quick and friendly service. Well worth the stop.

Possibly the worst location we dined at ...but also possibly the best food and fun we had all holiday! A dodgy wooden shack on the (wrong side of) the main coastal road with no air conditioning, plastic table cloths and matching flowers! Great food. Ate loads and the waitress was lovely. Would most definitely return next year.

We asked for no msg and no salt: it was without taste. Can Chinese restaurants only make tasty food with chemicals?

Nice place takes rather a long time to get your food when there are take-a-way orders But the food is ok but a little boring. I like the lunch deals for not much money you get a good meal.I often buy a lunch in the plastic box and eat in the restaurant as there are not many people in the... More

The East Moon is a great place to end up for a meal because the food is tasty and it's freshly prepared— and, according to a relative who visits Hong Kong and went to the restaurant, that's a plus. As well, the atmosphere is friendly, a bit tropical, and the people who run the place are nice. And meals are... More
