We booked on recommendation from a friend in the UK who said it was a must place to eat when visiting Barbados. He wasn't wrong. Firstly, the staff and service are excellent. So friendly and happy to help in any way. We chose king prawns and scallops rissoto to start, catch of the day and lobster ceasar salad, finishing with... More

My partner and I had a fabulous lunch overlooking the sea. From the moment we arrived, the management and staff were very attentive and friendly in a lovely relaxed environment. The food, notably the seafood platter for two, was superb with a fine range of wines to chose from. Overall, whilst not cheap, this was very good value for money... More

Thanks for dining with us and glad you enjoyed our little restaurant. Our seafood platter for two is the most expensive item on our menu. Lobster, Scallops, Prawns, Calamari, Grill and blackened Fish, Carb claws, two side dishes - enough to feed an army! This along with a crisp white wine - perfect. We look forward to welcoming you back... More

We had a family meal for five in the evening. Beautiful setting right by the beach we had a beachside table which was really nice. The starters were nice and for the main course four of us had fish of the day, two were grilled and two with panfried. The grilled fish was much better than the panfried which unfortunately... More

Always an excellent occasion at The Fishpot and this visit was no exception. The menu is well thought out and the food cooked excellently, service is attentive but unobtrusive. The restaurant decor is simple and unfussy - don't underestimate the quality of everything else, easily our preferred restaurant on the island and blows the Cliff and Cin Cin out of... More

Wow, that's quite a review. We are glad you enjoy our little restaurant. We don't claim to be anywhere near as fancy as other restaurants mentioned in the review - We firmly believe the simple things in life like friendly service, fresh ingredients and a nice casual atmosphere are usually the recipe to a great dining experience. Thanks for visiting and we really appreciate your coments. With respect to the "expensive " part of your review, we encourage readers to look at our menu and prices online. You will realise our prices are in line if not slightly less than most restaurants along the west coast. More

We visit the Fish Pot whenever we are in Barbados, it never fails with friendly service, excellent food and the location is fantastic, fight on the beach. I had the garlic prawns to start, as did my husband and we both had the catch of the day, all delicious. We can't wait til next time.

Our first visit to the Fish Pot being a 20-25 minute drive from Westmoreland, where we were staying. Pretty much faultless...fabulous food, wine, location and attentive staff, right on the beach in a rustic and extremely comfortable and relaxed environment. There are so many excellent restaurants on the West Coast that it is difficult to manage to visit all of... More

Nice setting up the west coast right on the beach. We turned up without a reservation but got decent seats. Service was very good as was most of the food. The fish platter was fantastic, whitebait was a little disappointing, it really needs to be served immediately or it just tastes greasy as this did, but overall very good and... More

We went for dinner tonight as our last night on the island before we returned home. It was delicious, all of the staff were so friendly and welcoming. They accommodated my wish to have flying fish as a main course instead of the catch of the day, which was lovely. I had calamari to start also (one of the best... More
