We ran into escape the rain and found a magical bar restaurant. What a find! The staff were friendly, engaged and fun. The food (we ended up staying) was very good. We will return dressed for a proper night in this gem of a sea front restaurant

Last year(Nov) we visited Jumas for dinner. They provided transport both ways and we had a smashing meal, not cheap but nice .. HAS THIS PLACE CHANGED HANDS? We popped in this morning for breakfast as advertised and sat on the terrace as no staff evident. Another couple were already seated waiting to be served. After 15 minutes they left... More

Very relaxed local dining but the service is a bit too relaxed. As previous reviewers have said it takes an age just to get a drink and for food orders to be taken. Great location right on the waterfront.

We went one evening just for a drink, bar/restaurant was very empty, what food I saw looked very good but very overprice Cost us £30 for 2 small beers and 2 cocktails, wouldn't rush to eat there as bar next door ( very lively) has karaoke with very bad drunk singer so spoilt the ambience for me

What a great day. Free use of their beach loungers with umbrella while we had an amazing lunch. Best Shrimp Roti ever with ice cold beers in a bucket!

We showed up later in the evening after most kitchens were closed in the area and the staff at Jumas set us up and were very accommodating. I think we all had their special which was $50 per person and included a bottle of wine for each couple. We had lamb curry, chicken curry, and fish and everyone raved about... More

We visited Jumas for both lunch and dinner when we were last on Barbados in August. Both times we had very nice meals. We are pleased to say that nothing has changed since then. We had another lovely meal on our second night back on this fabulous island. We both had the Mahi Mahi and it was cooked to perfection.... More

We had a table booked for 6pm and there was only one other table occupied on arrival so staff weren't busy. The setting was very pretty with all the lights around the tables. Sadly that was where the good points ended. We gave our orders but had to ask again for our non-arriving drinks and then ask yet again as... More

I know we are Carribean and things are slower and relaxed but please ... This was just the most slowest service ever. My friend and I visited here last week and first of all had to wait ages to get a menu and in the end I had to get up and get one myself. The staff were just not... More

Myself and husband along with two friends had a meal here afew weeks ago and ordered a bottle of Pinot Grigio which although was a screw top was definitely off and too yellow. The staff were very inattentive and we had to wait ages for the meal which was average when it eventually arrived. The people on the next table... More
