We had several lunches at Jumas and each time could not complain at all about the quality of food or drinks - it really was great quality and delicious but the service on each occasion was just dreadful! Laughably so! We are pretty relaxed but it would generally take one hour for food to arrive after ordering. It's a great... More

The free taxi service to and from the restaurant worked really well and made it so easy to go. The dinner was very good, excellent catch of the day. The staff were very friendly and accommodating and the wine was good too. 4 stars on value, but we have found that eating out in Barbados is expensive and the key... More

When friends and family visit Barbados Jumas is always our first stop for dinner. The West Indian curry on the specials is outstanding. We all had it and agreed it was one of the best curries we had ever had. Some nice choices of desserts as well. Apple crumble, crime brûlée, chocolate pot and coconut cake. A nice couple of... More

We had a fantastic Christmas day lunch at Juma's - succulent roast turkey with ALL and LOADS of trimmings. A rum soaked rum cake to finish and roll me home baby! As always it was a great experience. Staff were lovely and service was excellent.

We visited Juma's on our last trip to Barbados and had a very enjoyable day. The bar / restaurant is on a lovely beach in a bay with clear, still sea. However our latest visit just left us feeling a bit let down. We got there mid morning and ordered a couple of drinks which to be fair were brought... More

Good food but very understaffed.long waits for services beverages and food. Might be better to get a chair on the beach, place your order and go for a swim.

As one of the only few restaurants open on New Years Day, we headed here for some dinner. We found the location absolutely stunning, and even though it was night time the waves crashing against the beach whilst eating dinner was lovely. The food was just a bit pretentious. All served very delicately and plated up nicely, but not really... More

With the sea lapping the shore in the background this is a wonderful position for a top class dining experience. I had the rack of lamb cooked perfectly. My wife had the Marlin steak. Very much enjoyed. The restaurant was very busy but we were happy to enjoy the atmosphere.

Sat around for almost an hour waiting for service. We had to ask for water. We eventually got up and left without an apology from the staff or owner who was there and the place wasn't busy.
