Similar to Isla da la Muerte (Pirates of the Caribbean Part 1), the same applies to this restaurant: You can only find it if you already know your position. Without a modern satnav or a local guide, you don't even need to try. The drive up is an adventure (especially with oncoming traffic). At the end you are rewarded with a fairly large inn. The parking lot is a bit winding, my highlight is a bus turning area. I want to see how a bus gets up there.
The inn is homely, with Styrian and Austrian food, at about the usual price level. The interior is beautifully decorated with light wood. I can warmly recommend the soups, which sometimes come in a proper portion. The mixed salad (which was unfortunately forgotten) was also what you would expect. Pumpkin seed oil costs extra. The main courses were also not bad in terms of appearance, taste and size. The price-performance ratio is good, and you can often hear the crackling of the aluminum foil to take home. Vegetarian and even a vegan dish are offered. Unfortunately, ketchup is only available in sachets.
It is not a playful kitchen, and no extravagant ingredients are used. Just a down-to-earth country inn. There is a beautiful outdoor dining area, unfortunately the weather was bad. The staff were friendly and quick. The selection of digestive aids (schnapps) is also not bad. Only the toilet had a strong chemical smell.
Conclusion: Certainly suitable for a good meal, but you should also be quite hungry. Very good, but not exceptional, so 4/5.

fantastic rooms, traditionell design and the best is the wonderfull cooking like

Very simply - an excellent dining experience : First class - freshly cooked - food at a very reasonable price and with happy and efficient staff... The visit and my dinner were true pleasures.....highly recommended.
Can get busy - so wothwhile booking.
