We had a one-hour wait at Bruck/Mur train station and decided to venture into town (a 10-minute walk) where we saw San Marco filled with diners and decided that this was a good sign. We shared a pizza (kindly already cut in half and served on two separate plates) and salad (would have preferred it without the dressing as I'd rather have had oil and vinegar, so if you are the same, you should mention that when ordering) and as we did not want to eat our pizza in a hurry before we left for the train station again, we asked for some alumnium foil to take the rest with us. Friendly and pretty quick service and very decent pizza, can recommend.

Carbonara was delicious.
I ordered a pizza without onions, but got them anyways.
House wine was not great at all.
Net result is an average score.

We ordered carpaccio, salad, spaghetti and glass of Merlot. The size of salad and spaghetti was really big. All tasted very well and we really enjoyed the evening. Very nice place where to spend summer evening.

Cooking with passion was on the Internet. We only cook with fresh ingredients from our homeland because we know that only the best quality makes the best taste. A promising announcement to the guest. With joyful anticipation we sat down and waited. The waiter wasn't exactly polite. He put the menus on the table and left without saying a word. After reviewing the menu, we ordered a capricciosa and one with prosciutto and funghi. Two beers to drink. When the food came, we couldn't believe what we were served here at first. Cheap canned ham and vegetables. Tasteless black olives. Nothing with fresh ingredients andbest quality. The trendy passion probably ends here when cans are opened. We award 1 star for the pizzeria. Because they were the only ones open and because the pizza dough was edible. Where is the touted passion for cooking? Real Italian cuisine is not. Anyone who likes canned food and appreciates unfriendly operation is right here.

The sea bream I ordered was definitely NOT one. It could have been a puny trout. The garlic bread was UNDER the fish and was disgustingly soggy. It was far too loud to have a conversation and the waiter actually wanted to decide what we drank! Cheap, expensively packaged. There are much better options for the money!

We ordered ham pizza and a salad. Both dishes were just average.
Regarding the wine now: You only get good wine in bottles, otherwise they have a cheap selection of wines (that too, only one type of white & one type of red) if you order per glass. I wonder if they consider that people have to drive back home and cant order a whole bottle of wine. Also I wanted red and my husband wanted white, what do we do then?
The customer service was the worst. No smile while taking the order, it would only appear once you tip them. Also they would ask 'fertig?' at the end of the meal.
I had somewhat more than average expectations from this place, but it was a sheer disappointment! Won't go there again.

I come here often with my parents - both quite elderly and quite fussy. The menu is large enough that they can choose dishes without too much difficulty, and the staff have always been helpful when it comes to choosing new dishes for them. Have never come away disappointed.

They have very delicious meals (special recommendation for minestrone soup) and kind staff, promptly willing to help with the table for large group with many kids.

Location: What I do not like is that you have to walk through the smokers area to get to the non-smoking area. The location looks very good, old catacomb style. But the sound is terrible, simply way to loud (especially with kids present) but this is due to the old building, so what could they do? The atmosphere all in all is good.
Food: The appetizer was very nice. Mixed San Daniele ham and cheese. They used to be famous for the pizza in the area. I had the one with seafood. Stuffed with Surimi, which I do not like (why do they have to use this grounded and pressed artificìally colored stuff?). Just the shrimp and mussels would have been fine. The dough was mushy and so the pizza was pretty bad this time.
Service: The service is good. Staff is fast, friendly but not welcoming.

Stopped by for a evening meal. The service was fast and we were lucky to get an outside table. Tried the pizza and it was excellent. Will visit again.

Called off here for lunch. There is seating available both inside & out. The service was quick & efficient.
Ordered 2 x Tunafish salads €7.60 each which came very quickly. There were one of the best salads I've had. Plentiful is an understatement. You are offered a fresh cut bread basket which went untouched on our table due to the size of the salad..
I would definitely recommend eating here - you won't be disappointed..

Although this restaurant is named “Pizzeria Trattoria San Marco” it is not a genuine Italian restaurant, i.e. a restaurant run by native Italians. Actually, its proprietors originate from the Balkans as can be gathered from the restaurant's website. But this should not make any difference provided the kitchen staff is really familiar with Italian cuisine. The focus of the menu is on pasta and pizza, not on more exceptional Italian dishes, let alone the cuisine of certain Italian regions.
When I arrived there for a very late lunch on a rainy working day I was surprised for two reasons. First, while the pedestrian precinct where “San Marco” is situated was deserted, the restaurant was half full. This place seems to be popular among locals. Second, seeing its plain outside one would not expect such a large and cozy restaurant. The interior is rustic, features some bare brick walls and large wooden girders. The furniture is also made of wood. From the first moment I felt comfortable there. But this comfort was somewhat spoiled later when the separation of the smokers and the non-smokers areas turned out to be insufficient. Dependent on whether the entrance and/or the back door were open the smell and smoke of cigarettes was sucked from time to time into the non-smokers area.
Since it was already late for having lunch I chose a pizza in the hope that it would be prepared rapidly. Indeed, a sizeable pizza was served after only a fairly short waiting time. Service was swift, but indifferent and not particularly friendly. My mild and polite criticism at the end that the pizza, although on the whole quite good, suffered from too much salt in its dough (or at least in parts of it) was simply ignored by the waiter.
Prices were quite low in view of the nice ambiance. All in all, a restaurant of mainstream Italian cuisine whose principal attraction, however, seems to be its marvelous décor.

The food was burnt and tastes like ready meals. Unfortunately, we felt very sick.
Staff didn't even apologize for the burnt food.
We will certainly never come back!!!!!
