We visit Prashad often and have loved the food every single time. We are both meat eaters but never miss the meat as the meals are so delicious and varied. I particularly love the Chaat and the Masala Dosa which are always consistently excellent. However when we visited today I couldn't help feeling that there would have been much less... More

Too expensive d for the kind of food served. It's decent quality, but not enough to charge fine dining prices.

I love Prashad. The food is always, always excellent. We go here regularly and the quality of the cooking and presentation never fails. The Chaat and Masala Dosa my absolute favourite. I'm so glad we live so close but would travel to eat here. After today's visit though, I can't help thinking the service staff would have been more 'on... More

Clean. Nice staff. Good mango lassi. Good thali. But: the potato/spinach curry was so hot to the point of being inedible. Too bad I ate it second, spoiled my taste for the rest of the meal.

We eat here at least once a month now. We are meat eaters but this vegetarian food is delicious. The staff are excellent and cannot do enough for you. Well worth a visit whether you are vegetarian or not.

I chose this restaurant on a whim, I simply wanted a vegetarian Indian. This is however a special place. The chutney with poppadum included a rhubarb chutney as well as more traditional ones. You then have a stunning free starter which came with a beetroot source and a bhaji. I love Gujarati food so went for Thali. It was stunning... More

Since moving to Bradford me and my partner have been enjoying all the different cuisines and curryhouses around, so when we learned there was a vegetarian only place we decided we had to try it for our anniversary meal. The interior is beautiful, and very cosy, although the tables downstairs are very close together (we were seated next to a... More

Confession time, a good majority of my TA reviews centre around establishments that serve curry. However, until now I have never been to a completely vegetarian restaurant, I have never ever made a vegetarian choice from a main menu. Our visit to Prashads has given me the proverbial kick up the pants to say 'why the hell not, what have... More

Fantastic meal, we had the midweek set menu, very good value and great range of flavours, we enjoyed every dish. Very attentive service, only small quibble was the music was rather too loud.

Thank Hilary F

Prashad is an award winning Indian vegetarian restaurant in the heart of West Yorkshire. It is based in a renovated pub building in Drighlington, which has been transformed into an intimate and vibrant Gujarati eaterie. It features a large bar area where the in-house mixologist serves up perfectly-matched cocktails, locally-brewed beers and wines with roadside snacks and Indian tapas. There are three different dining areas and a snug that can be individually booked for private parties. The open pass kitchen brings the passionate Head Chef and her team closer to the customers.

In the last 12 months alone we have been awarded the Morrisons Magazine Great Grub Award 2013, the Yorkshire Life Chef of the Year 2013 (which Minal and Kaushy won jointly), the Michelin Guide Bib Gourmand 2014, and the Yorkshire Evening Post Oliver Awards Best Indian Restaurant 2014!
