The food was barely okay. The seafood was not fresh catch but frozen. Maybe from Sams or Costco. Don't bother.

We stopped in for lunch one day and tried the coconut shrimp. It was fabulous. Came back the next week and tried the fish. It was also excellent.
excellent service, very good food, friendly, local atmosphere, reasonable prices have been there many times, never disappointed.

We have eaten several times at this spot and liked the food and service every time. They bring tasty botanas when you order drinks and the food is good and reasonable.

Ordered shrimp ceviche, sopa de Lima. Shrimp was chewy ( not fresh or something and were not deveined)... soup was ok- didn't taste like lime. Drinks were decently strong. Bathrooms were decent. Service was ok. No english
I went to this restaurant for breakfast and the food was good, the service was friendly, and the view of the beach was beautiful. The next time I'm in Progreso I will definitely eat there again.
