Before the renovations (replacement of the building) this was a great place. Tons of character, wooden floors, and excellent food. Now, while the kitchen is bigger, the dining area is smaller and very sterile. The food actually is a little lack lustre now. Always sad when a great place goes down hill.

We've a family history steeped in tradition in the little village of Tobermory. And you can't visit this place without trying on the Whitefish meals served at Craigie's. Try it, you won't be disappointed. A simple venue for a simply wonderful fish meal.

We have eaten at Craigie's many times in the past. Anytime we were in Tobermory we ate a Craigies at least twice. However, we were there last year just after the renovations were complete and honestly we were extremely disappointed. Not only was the inside a sterile white, there was no character to the inside anymore, the food was less... More

We only had burger as we were not very hungry. The specialty of the house was fish and chips. The resto dining area was handled by only one person and he really did a great job taking care of about 6 tables at the same time. The meal was complemented with a nice view of the harbor. A nice alternative... More

We had a very nice breakfast here four years ago and a very good lunch two years ago so we decided to have lunch at Craigie's again. We were a bit disappointed. I ordered soup and salad and my husband ordered soup and a BLT. My salad was fresh and crisp but my soup never showed up. According to my... More

Craigie's only serve breakfast until eleven. sign says that very clearly, and while I can understand being meticulous about following rules when it is really busy, I don't see refusing two separate parties breakfast when the restaurant is otherwise empty on a late September Wednesday. And having the staff smirking about it was over the top. I will not bother... More

One of the best locations to eat breakfast and watch the action of the marina. We ordered the breakfast special and the food came quickly and was excellent value. My scrambled eggs were fluffy and my daughter's over easy came very over easy and were perfect for dipping. With three slices of bacon, toast and excellent crispy home browns, it... More

Lacking in atmosphere. Service good. Expensive lunch for what you get...one piece of fish and fries with no coleslaw or salad. Last time we'll eat whitefish. Glad we tried it but back to the west coast for us.

Small but friendly, they serve a great breakfast and do an excellent fish and chips featuring local whitefish.

The food was quick and delicious. I had the fish burger - nice light breading, fresh fish - and my partner had the veggie burger. Both were tasty and large portions though it was a bit pricey for lunch. Coleslaw was a great side.
