" Among The Best Nasi Kandar In Malaysia"

I am Nasi kandar Lover. Mention there is a new nasi kandar, I must go and try because I myself as a good cooking. Hussain Nasi Kandar has its own taste and is very tasty. If people say Pelita, Kayu, line clear, Nasi beratur is definitely not comparable to the taste of Hussain Nasi Kandar. Which I solute not only in taste but the cleanliness of the shop and kitchen is indeed A +++. You come and try to make sure you believe. The Nasi Kandar shops that I mentioned above are not tasty and very dirty.

Really spot on!

I love Nasi Kandar food and was hesitant first to try as this does not look like any traditional nasi kandar shop that im used to. But I must say that I was really pleasently surprised. The food (dhal, roti canai, ayam goreng, nasi briyani) was all top class! Better than most restaurants on the island. The restaurant is really clean and modern. Service is fast and polite! Really good job! 5 stars!

Great Restaurant but toilets need upgrading

Spacious restaurant with great tasty food. Staff very courteous and friendly. On the downside, the toilets needed to be upgraded as it's a very busy establishment.

Great food, great staffs

Almost everyday we dine here from breakfast to lunch and once for dinner. Great food and lots of choices. From Indian to malay food. Staffs very attentive and hardworking bit to forget, very friendly. I strongly recommend this restaurant if anyone visits alor setar Taman Astana.

Clean & value for money

Recommended by TripAdvisor for the best nasi kandar in SP. Had dinner & teh tarik with old local friends. Clean eatery, dishes were labelled with price tag, thus can eat with a peace of mind. Tried nasi kandar with sotong and daging masak hitam. Also tried murtabak & teh tarik. Teh tarik is a must have.

Most popular in the holy months for their chicken dishes only available at the month of puasa and their delicious murtabak. Be prepared for the long Quee come early to avoid the crowds.

The best nasi kandar in town. It’s clean as well though always crowded. Their briyani is the best! As you all know, briyani was created by the Mughals who were Indian Muslims. It is only apt that nasi kandar shops serve the best briyani as it is their heritage food. That’s the origin of briyani. The murtabak in hussain is the bomb! Yummylicious!

Great food but a bit on the expensive side

The food here is great,you could try their own signature Briani and be blown away by their curry. Unfortunately this is one of the most expensive nasi kandar chain in Sg Petani so if you're on a budget,you should avoid this place.

Not my kind of food taste

We have to queue to get our food. Food are spicy and taste of mamak style. Very expensive and mainly served curry like dishes. The place was crowded though with customers who endeavour mamak food.

the rice is good and the chicken bawang but the food tend to be rather oily.. not as good as the nasi kandar in penang.. I would recommend this option only if you run out of others

The restaurant also dishes out roti jala, tosai and other Indian roties. Good food. I dislike having to Q and so I order only roti jala. Crowded at meal times.
