Cendol was alright! Nothing to shout about. But hey! On hot sunny day, if you need something to cool you down, this is the place to go!
Reasonable priced and the Service was awesome; fast!

From a humble pushcart near the drain and serving just a bowl of chendol, the stall now operate from a shophouse diagonally opposite it original place. Previously, you order the cengdol, stand and consume it to present day where you get to sit and consume leisurely. Also, now a basic bowl of chendol cost Ringgit $1.50 and you can add various additional ingredients at addition cost.

I was a child when I got my first taste of cendol - then was sold by the original owner on a cart park next to row of shops in Penggaram. I use to get very excited just eating and slurping the sweet thick palm sugar syrup and cendol (green noodles); remember asking the vendor for more palm sugar syrup.
Yes very nostalgic indeed; whenever I go back to Batu Pahat, I will always make it a point to have some.....just bring back found memories.
Now after many years this cendol business is handled by the family and they have housed the cart in a modest looking shop just opposite (diagonal).
I can see that over the years they have added more and more flavors and along with time the price has also gone up. But the original cendol now will cost you RM 1.20.
I still love this cendol - its refreshing. So if you are in Batu Pahat, its worth to try for yourself!

We tried the cendol at Akbar Cendol shop. The service was fast and price is reasonable. We tried cendol durian. The durian was frozen and not fresh. The taste was good average.

It used to be must have when I am at Batu Pahat. Sadly the quality has gone down. The coconut milk is still good. However few years back they have their own made chendol (noodle), now it been replaced with kind of factory made .

The cendol sold here is nice and value for money. At this shop, you can choose a huge variety of cendol with different flavours like durian, kacang and corn.

Those who have tried cendol at other part of malaysia may not like this Johor version. It abit bland and color not as brown too. It is a very old shop run by few generations. Those who grown up in this town will find it nostalgia.

The shop has been opened for many many years. It specialises in making cendol so you can trust that it has great taste. The dessert is served with your choice of topping and you can either have it with shaved ice or as a drink. The shop itself has a very old feel and might benefit from retrofit.

A simple cendol in batu pahat, yet the taste is superb. Not too sweet yet i can feel the taste of gula melaka and pandan. The shop provide a variety of combination of cendol, such as red bean, pulut etc. My personal preference is original flavor.

Been visiting this quaint stall since I was a kid. After so many years, it brings back lots of memories to visit and have the classic cendol here. It’s not overly sweet, ingredients are generous and just the right dessert for a hot day. You won’t be disappointed.
However, opening hours are erratic, often finding the stall closed at odd days.

Superb quality! Very crowded and apparently loved by local Batu Pahat residents. I am in love too especially with their Durian Cendol! If there is anything to nitpick then maybe it is the sellers unfriendliness

Yummy cendol, perfect on a hot day. Santan was not too thick, light and delicious, and I chose mine with ice cream. Cheap and fast service. Recommended! Easy to find on Waze.
