Buustamon is classic Åre. Great place for food and drinks. Nice veranda for soaking in the sun (when applicable). Off the beaten track, it can be tricky to find if you have not been there before. Rustic, cosy interior. Quick service. Can be a lot of people and difficult to get a table. Good service and good variety of food... More

Wonderful restaurant full of character. The wooden cladding and fires create a very cosy atmosphere. A perfect place to warm up and have some lunch or a drink. Menu is varied and includes lots of traditional Swedish food! Would definitely return!

The Place is Nice, bit service and food could easely improve. But then again it is in the middle of the slopes. We had burgers and they were below average. Cold bread, and overdone burgers. IT has Been better before, and IT was rather busy - so IT might be unfair to settle for 3 stars, nevertheless - burgers Are... More

A dream of a mountain hotel. Old, full of character and one of the cosiest places you can imagine. Great staff (thanks Isabelle!) and food - breakfasts, dinner and home distilled cocktails (thanks English Andy). Fine wellness facilities, ski-in / out and the only way to get there is via skidoo or snow show. Cool.

This restaurant is situated in a inn (a almost-hotel, with several rooms for guests). As a restaurant it is very rustic, genuine and cozy (look at the pictures). The interior and environment is fantastic with open fires and candles everywhere. Dinner: The food is good but very expensive and they only have fixed menu's in the evenings containing a three-course... More

You may go there either by skiing or walking for 5-6 minutes inside a forest. There's a snowmobile available to get you there. The location is magical. We had everything from the small menu, goulash, salmon salad, sausage, fish. All of them were tasty. Service was friendly and fast. No reservations for lunch, only for dinner.

We had the julbord (Christmas buffet) here last week- truly excellent food including all of the Swedish classics and top notch ingredients (interestingly they buy some meat products from the Faviken estate). We enjoyed the whole experience of riding up to the restaurant in a snowcat, being welcomed with glogg, and sitting down in the very cool main restaurant for... More
