This is a authentic Tuscan owner operated restaurant with terrific Tuscan food at amazing prices. I think my wife and I were the only tourists in the restaurant surrounded by local families really enjoying their meal and company. It was as fun watching the locals dine as it was enjoying our own fantastic food.

Our family (me, my husband and our 4 yr old son) had a wonderful dinner here. We were recommended the restaurant by our hotel and we were welcomed with friendly, open arms. The surrounds are humble - it is clearly a place the locals frequent, which we thought was a great sign, and the food is amazing and such great... More

Ate at Paolo's restaurant a couple of time while we were staying in Noce nearby. The food is made fresh daily by Paolo's mum. Paolo is friendly and gregarious, recommending dishes and bringing us glasses of chianti on the house. We tried Peposo, a peppery Tuscan beef stew, and the requisite Spaghetti al Ragu. The salads were fresh and delicious.... More

My friend and I enjoyed a great lunch of pappardelle with ragu and seafood spaghetti here. Service was attentive and Paolo, the owner, was really warm and friendly. What a lovely, unpretentious local eatery with good food at good prices! We are hoping to make another stop here before leaving Tuscany!

In August my partner and I spent a week in Tavarnelle; on the advice of our hostel owner we visited the Caffe Degli Amici (Viola Club) and it soon became a daily staple. The food is fresh, well portioned, inexpensive...and delicious! The owner Paolo is an incredibly warm and generous person, who happily welcomed us every day. He was able... More

Shall we eat in or out...let's have a look at trip advisor...okay let's try this place...wow, amazing value, truly authentic Italian cuisine beautifully explained by the owner, Paulo. He explained the wine of the region too for us. What an experience especially after being ripped off in Venice. Brings back our faith in humanity.
