We stumbled across this quintessential village pub on the green in Lurgashall while on a lovely spring walk. Intrigued by its charm we returned for lunch the next day which turned out to be an excellent decision. Inside, the pub is very thoughtfully decorated, accentuating traditional features in this lovely country pub. We shared a scotch egg to start, and... More

Had a great lunch here today. Ham hock, celeriac and borlotti bean stew- delicious. My husband had the fish and chips- lovely white fish and very crisp batter with chips and peas.

Lovely cosy pub in quaint setting. Food, we had beef, burger and fish and chips were all excellent, if a little pricey for pub food, but we enjoyed our visit and hope to visit again when in area, when hopefully warm enough to sit outside. Staff very friendly and attentive. Recommended.

Enjoyed a very pleasant Tuesday evening at the Noah's Ark. The bar where we had our first drink was busy and jolly yet the service was friendly and very efficient. We had ordered the private dining room in advance for a gathering of friends and found a pleasant, airy room that was warm in decor. The food was delicious and... More

Went for a festive dog walk and stopped here afterwards with my family. All 4 of us were very satisfied with our meals. I had the homemade burger and it was very tasty, they also have a lot of good beers/lagers on tap. Would 100% recommend. Little gem

Carefully researched, and read good things in various different sources, about this pub before booking for a special New Year's Day late lunch for my parents. Unfortunately, despite the lovely surroundings and decor, the experience was rather duff overall. Service started off slow (we waited 35 mins for our order to be taken) and got slower - to the point... More

Plenty of parking as this lovely old pub nestles alongside the village green. Peaceful surroundings. Excellent service from friendly staff. Fine food. Well worth a visit.

Although busy(private function) service was excellent and the sea food pasta was faultless. I have never been disappointed. Henry and Amy run a great pub.
