Good food at fair prices - not exciting, but delicious down to earth Italian food as you'd like it to be!

We went there during a boat trip to Stromboli and hoped, based on the good reviews, to have a nice lunch there. But we were poorly disappointed. The staff just threw two menus on our table - no warm welcome. We're not able to provide any comparison to ither restaurants on the island, but 5€ for a small Insalata Mista... More

We went there various times both for lunch and dinner. The staff is very helpful, just ask for the freshest fish they have (catch of the day) and it will be great. Also pasta dishes are very good, and they have a good wine list. Do not hesitate to walk in, even for simple one course meals (e.g. one pasta... More

To be fair, we arrived early after a long day of travel and we were hungry. The service was friendly and helpful. The seafood antipasto was good but not great. Gli spaghetti alla disgraziata were ok but not a large portion. The fish was again good but not great. Reasonable prices for Panarea.

We had eaten at Da Francesco on three visits to Panarea and each time we found it one of our best meals during our entire vacation. We gladly returned last week, and were quite disappointed. I see that the reviews remain high so I assume we hit a bad night. It wasn't terrible, just not nearly as good as other... More

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful lunch during our trip, and will definitely be returning. The food, service and ambiance were great, in addition to the beautiful views of the sea from our table.

Solid, consistent and reliable restaurant. Not the best food we had on our honeymoon (competition was strong) but, the overall package was great. Nice people, good service, great setting and view, lovely food, fantastic value for money and, all-in-all, a very enjoyable experience. I would suggest, given the view and the relaxed atmosphere, this place is perfect for lunch rather... More

We lunched at Da Francesco whilst cruising the Aeolian islands and I must say this lunch was one of the best meals I had in Sicily. We had pasta with vongole, fresh local fish, calmari and cassata sicilana. The food was freshly prepared and the staff is very attentive. While dining at Da Francesco you can admire the beautiful views of... More
