This place is right at the end of a road that you would not stumble across unless you knew it was there. But it is worth searching out. Lots of outdoor sheltered seating in a quiet setting. A menu which can be challenging to translate if your French is not too strong but the waiter really tried to help. Great... More

We visit this restaurant every year when we are in Domme. This time we went there with our families to celebrate a birthday. The owners are so friendly and we always feel very welcome. We call it an hidden pearl in the perigord noir. The food is fabulous and so fresh. We can't wait to return. Nico&Mark

I took my wife, two teenage boys and my father to dinner at Lo Gorssado and the whole experience, from the food, to the service to the ambience was fantastic. While the waiter didn't speak much English, we got by with my limited French. REally a memorable night; we'd go back again if we could.

Recommended highly by a local, we decided the 15 minute drive into the countryside could be managed. Unfortunately our GPS must have been set to "scenic route" and it took longer, but we arrived to find a charming establishment on a hillside. A delightful restaurant with friendly hostess. The meal was very enjoyable without challenging for a star. Ambience and... More

We stayed longer in the area, just to go back a second time! The atmosphere was inviting and warm and everything on the plate was incredible. From the greeting to the dessert, it was perfect. The soup was by far the best soup we have ever eaten in our lives, and the beef stuffed with Foie Gras...I have no words.... More

Arriving at this true farm-to-table restaurant was like coming to a garden party in the French countryside with the most exquisite food you could desire!every bite was a new pleasure from the foix gras starter to the walnut cake from nuts harvested from the property. And it was reasonably priced. Please do yourself a favor and go enjoy this restaurant!

On holiday in the area only 10 mins drive from this restaurant so a must. Absolutely a great decision. Welcome and service by the manageress was fantastic and it helped that she had good English. A good choice of a la carte and menu options. All of the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The pace of service was spot... More

Booked this restaurant on trip advisor recommendations, at first we thought we might be only diners on a Tuesday evening but it rapidly filled to capacity which given the quality of the food provided was hardly surprising despite the remote location. All the food was freshly prepared and many ingredients came from owners garden. Overall great meals at reasonable prices.So... More

We found Lo Gorissado on trip advisor and thanks to the accurate positive comments decided spontaneously to have finner there. We also liked the online table booking with minimal effort. By far this was the best meal of our week in the Dordogne. All four of us (2 adults and 2 teenagers) were delighted by the food, service and entire experience. The restaurant is off the usual tourist trail, but so worth the effort to find it. The restaurant is small so booking is advised. Nothing could be faulted from... More
