This pub / restaurant is one of the many restaurants and shops dotted along the Wiejska street. Based upon the tripadvisor reviews my fiancée and opted for this restaurant for our lunch when visiting Hel. There is a handful of tables outside the front entrance of the hotel, and a few more tables available inside. I had the pork chops,... More

Me& my friends visited Captain Morgan Pub 2 weeks ago, during our stay in Hel. I decided to order risotto w/ shrimps. It was AMAZING! My friends chose fillet of flounder and cod. They said that these fishes were the best ones they've ever eaten. The waiters were so kind and helpful :) at 8pm the marine songs "concert" started.... More

Simple pub restaurant with good variety of foods. Food is better than we expected from the pub style. Friendly service with good english (at least one waitress spoke good english). I can recommend if you are looking for something not too fancy in Hel. Good casual place.

WiFi available. Good range of drinks and meals, including vegetarian. Only drawback was lack of staff, which was the case in all local restaurants! Pierogi Ruskin was fab

This place has great atmosphere, it's cosy and engaging. However, the quality of food was really dissatisfying. The cod I ordered was terribly seasoned and fries seemed soggy. On the bright side - local beer was great, and there was a shanties night (even though it was out of season). So, as a pub - great, as a restaurant -... More

Nice i guess for a tourist place in Poland. If you're from Poland, it's on par for a tourist spot. If your from someplace else, just remember, you're in POLAND. Lower your expectations, then lower them again.

We did not order there too much different things. Perhaps beer is something you can take everywhere you are... However we have spent there the best shanties evening we have ever remember. The whole atmosphere was awesome. Also the people was awesome. Come to Hel, come to Captain Morgan too !

The interior, filled to the brim with old sea memorabilia, doesn't look anything like the photo above. It's dark, has a little bit of a hodge-podge feel, chairs of different vintages are crammed around the tables. We were served by very friendly english-speaking waitresses, who were very understanding and attentive. Seafood was excellent, my lemon sole being extremely good. Our... More

More pub than restaurant feeling. One of the few places in the Hel open out of season. Interesting decor, plenty of marine objects it makes a great cosy and mysterious atmosphere. It is one of those authentic places that have soul. Delicious, simple food, mainly fish. Great atmosphere in winter, when there are no crowds. Best place for a beer or... More
