We went to Meads Bay to do a beach day and ate at Blanchards, not the restaurant the beach shack..... the food was absolutely amazing and very reasonable in price. The veggie burger with a gluten free bun was fantastic, the cheese burger second to none and I got the big bowl with mahi mahi fish... wow.
You can rent beach chairs for 5$ what a great day at the 🏖

Blanchards Beach Shack is a well oiled machine. It has something for everyone. I had a bowl with mahi and my wife had a salad. Both were exceptionally fresh and tasty. The menu has price points that everyone should be able to find something - from a burger to lobster. Put your order in at the window and they give you a buzzer to let you know it's ready. Dining at picnic tables or small tables in the sand as you look out to the Caribbean. This is a popular restaurant - we showed up around 4:30 and walked right up no problem.

The setting of this beach eatery draws you in as you enter and take in the awesome view. We enjoyed fruit smoothies, rice bowls, burger and fries, and ice cream; all to our delight. The ocean breezes are an added bonus and we appreciated the friendliness of the staff. Make this a part of your experience on Anguilla.

We walked down from our hotel for lunch. The place was busy but not packed. Lots of outside seating. Good menu to choose from, the kitchen looked spotless.
You order from a window, they give you a buzzer but they buzz you first to get your drinks then again for food, but ours didn't buzz a second time so i just stood by the window and realized our food was sitting there for 5 mins before anyone said anything. We ordered a rum punch and a beer, then just got a hotdog with sauerkraut, gazpacho and tortilla chips with pico degallo. Ran about $40 for lunch. Not bad. The hot dog was fine, the gazpacho is not like back home but still good, small for what you paid, and the tortilla chips, have to say were awful, not salted, tasted flat, no flavor at all and the pico was good. Overall was average. The punch was just ok too. Would i go back, probably not too many other places on the beach to have lunch.
Very casual place, outside picnic tables nice atmosphere but the food was just ok.

We enjoyed two lunches at the Beach Shack during our week long visit. It is a bright cheerful spot with a wide variety of food choices. Something for everyone, bowls, sandwiches, soup, salads, dogs, burgers. The black bean soup was really good, we also enjoyed the gazpacho, a perfectly grilled dog and the macho nachos which are huge. Prices are reasonable, they accept credit cards, service was fast considering how busy it was and the staff were friendly and fun. When we arrived there were a lot cars there and we didn’t think we would get a seat, but a lot the people are on the beach so there was no problem getting a table. Really enjoyed both visits.

What a treat! Both the very informal beach shack and the restaurant are a true find! The service in the shack is very fast and professional, and the food is very good for an informal lunch/dinner on the beach. You sit at outside tables on the beach. The restaurant is very inviting, the service is very good, and the menu offers a wide selection for everyone. The wine list is extensive, and includes some impressive vintages. The Shack is on the beach, but the restaurant has no beach view.

Blanchards beach shack has quick service and has amazing food they serve almost anything drinks tacos hamburgers and it’s right on the beach which is amazing because you get your food and you either go to a table or you go back to your chairs or on the beach and you can eat there. Blanchard’s beach shack also offers takeout and again has very very quick service I mean 20 minutes counting driving there picking it up and driving back. Blanchard‘s restaurant is also on the beach but if there’s some windows closer to the beach and it’s amazing those trees an amazing stream lights all over it’s amazing beautiful place perfect for family dinners and it has an amazing history and it’s all in the back of the menu. This place has this incredible history and they feel that they can and are sharing it with you but it also mentions when they get staff and it’s just an experience that you have to have because it’s just amazing also the food is incredible I mean wide selection that everyone and I mean everyone in my family got what they wanted and they loved it.

We came to Meads bay just for the day and found this gem. They were able to provide beach chairs for $5. With most of the places on the island kind of pricey this was nice to see. If you have picky kids this place is perfect as they serve "regular" dishes for cheap.

We had our final dinner in Anguilla here. The decor is very cute - thank classic Caribbean with bright colors but still elegant. As it was our last night in Anguilla we went out with a good bang and ordered the following: (for tapas) plantain chips, chickpea fritters, salmon, Vietnamese crepe. All were great our favorite being the chickpea fritter. Not to disturb you readers but we ate more food after: I had an entree of crayfish and my partner grilled fish l. I enjoyed my grilled crayfish immensely. For desert (yes we kept going) we had the ice cream sandwich and cracked coconut. While there seems to be a great deal of fanfare for the coconut I absolutely loved the ice cream sandwich and thinks it deserves more praise. Many tables around us seemed to be enjoying it as well.

We celebrated our 49th anniversary here and truly enjoyed our lovely meal. The food is served appropriately cold or piping hot, depending on what you've ordered. Appetizers can be quite generous, almost enough for an entree! The vibe of the restaurant is Caribbean in the best way, open in floor plan to the breezes of the sea. It's a pleasure to see staff so well coordinated that each person keeps an eagle eye on their table or assigned task. Do go, you will enjoy!

There is something special that is experienced dining in Blanchards. As if the large number of attentive staff, the history of giving back to this beautiful Island and the generosity the owners share with Anguilla wasn’t enough, our dinners were spectacular! From my Wild Berry Vojito to my Tenderloin to my Lemon cake...everything was plated beautifully and tasted amazing. The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. One feels like family. I highly recommend you make the trip!

We visited the island while the "bubble" was in place and the week we were there they actually had to shut down the island. No big deal...Blanchards delivery saved the day right down to the yummy Pina coladas. The food was delicious and fresh and quite reasonably priced (in comparison to many of the other places on the island).

Three of us went for lunch, and the day was beautiful. The restaurant is all outside with tables and umbrellas to block some of the mid day sun. You order your food at the counter and pick it up when it’s done. No table service. But, as you wait, the view is something any beach lover would dream about. We had three different dishes, mine just a tuna roll, but a good one. One of us had a vegetarian bowl, and she loved it. The frozen virgin drinks were delicious, and I’m sure the alcoholic ones were also. Couldn’t have asked for a better time.

A cute beach restaurant with some good food and more alcohol than anyone would ever need. The food here was very good and I was happy to get some cauliflower rice to aid me in my Keto diet. The fish was good and there are plenty of meat dishes as well. A little something for everyone. Overall food and service you would expect in a heavily tourist frequented location. The prices were reasonable compared to other locations.

Fun, island style beach restaurant. Attentive staff and very good food. We ordered the seafood medley (snapper, crawfish, jerk chicken) and it was fresh, served hot and timely. Very impressive wine list.
