It was a very cosy place on the second floor with a view over the city. The staff was friendly and excited and their English was very nice. We had an amazing dish something called '... Jamón'. It was a bit to much but we got to take it home in a doggybag (Which we actually ate at home because... More

We visited this restaurant whilst visiting Santa Clara with Cuban Compass Tours. I have to say we were not disappointed, after a busy morning it was a warm welcome on arrival in a friendly environment. The Piña Colada was fresh and cold and our son enjoyed a choice of beers. The waiter spoke excellent English and was more than happy... More

Don't go there - despite the roof terrace. We waited 75 minutes at our table to get our 4 overcooked main courses. The food was extremely overpriced compared to food quality well below average for Cuba. Just before leaving without any food we got our overcooked and deep fried chicken which was extremely dry. The rice included a small stone... More

We were seated in the upstairs terrace room overlooking the city of... More

This restaurant was recomended by the hostel i was staying in. As always the food in Cuba was bland and so overpriced. The service was good but the time it took for people to get their meals was lengthy. As in Cuba musicans start playing whilst you are eating then expect a tip! Why don't these restaurants pay them they're... More

I had a giant leg of ham with rice and vegetables. Truly delicious food. My girlfriend had fried chicken and this chicken must have been a giant! I am blown away at how large these legs were. Much larger than local Canadian chickens. There was live entertainment and at one point they gave everyone in the restaurant an instrument and... More

La Casona Guavara was recommended by the receptionist at Hotel America Santa Clara and we were so glad she did. We were welcomed to the restaurant and seated upstairs in the terrace which was fantastic. The menu was discussed with us and we agreed on Paella one with seafood the other with meat which we then shared. The food was... More
