We were a group of 6 adults. The entire experience was perfection. The food, the service (I must make special mention of the service) and the setting was nothing short of exceptional. We all agreed we would return the next time we are in the region.

We were a group of 7 people, 5 teenagers and 2 adults. We all agreed that this was one of the very best meals we had all over Burgundy France. The restaurant was lovely and welcoming(although best to be inside in June because the mosquitoes can be bad outside). Staff were very attentive and let us stay until the close... More

This a very good restaurant with a lovely menu and lovely wines to with the good quality food. In my opinion though it could do with less amuse bouche. We had a whole dish of dainty morsels then a whole plater of oysters. Unfortunately almost none of our group likes oysters so we had to send most of them back... More

This was a lunch full of surprises.....so many we wondered if our order was lost in translation. We ordered the Bresse chicken for two and our meal began with three of the most amazing plates of amuse bouche imaginable, followed by the most delectable breast and wing of succulent chicken, but that was not all!! More amuse bouche, but sweets... More

Reception cool, but professional. Atmosphere in the restaurant not really pleasant. The restaurant decoration is well passed is "useful life". The menu is expensive (2 courses 50 Euro). So you expect something, but unfortunately, very disappointing. We were with a company of two. For one of us the starter was OK, the other unacceptable. The main course for both (the... More

In France, there are certain places that are known for their cuisine. For many generations, the inns of Burgundy have been one such example, due to their warmth and elegance, representative of the regions of Bresse and Burgundy. Serving carp, perch, tench, eel and pike, the inns of Burgundy are the perfect place to try the pchouse Verdun: river fish stew, garlic and white wine. Didier Denis combines two different aspects: on the one hand, the fruits of the earth and tradition, and on the other, lighter meals, an emphasis on taste, and produce that is fit for a king.
