She listened, made suggestions and told me to ask for her when I ordered as she understood my needs. I did this when I ordered and she informed... More

Visited with a party of 11, bar staff friendly and efficient, reserved table worked good. The pub didn't appear overly busy but food took a while to come out. Most of the food was good, burgers were tasty and not overcooked, some chicken was abit rubbery but edible, chips were good, desserts took a while to come out but they... More

FOUND! Visiting from South Africa we googled all the pubs in the village to find worthwhile pie, gravy, mash and peas- the English way. We were sooooo impressed. It was worth the walk (up a devastating long and steep hill), the treacle pudding was also fantastic!!!! What a wonderful and memorable last evening in England. Thank you

Food took its time to come but that just tells me it's not heated up so I wasn't bothered about the wait. Enjoyed our meals and the... More
