We like curries. We like them a lot! We've been to most of the curry houses in Shipley (think the adaab is the only one we've not visited) and have found the food at this restaurant by far the worst of them all! Would rather visit Raj Poot (of if desperate) Shimla!

We popped into here after seeing some good feed back. The waiters and all staff are very polite, the food was at best average, I had paneer, with a total of 4 pieces of cheese, most of the curry was made up of potatoes, the chapati was cooked properly and way to thick, they should be light and thin, the... We decided to have a bite to eat before returning to our hotel after reading tens of great reviews. What an awful mistake and an even bigger disappointment! We arrived and sat down at our table and after 20 minutes of waiting we eventually had to call a waiter over to offer us a menu and a drinks list! This... More

Simple restaurant with excellent friendly service, great food and excellent value for money. We chose the shared grill starter which was plentiful and tasty. Our choices from the restaurant specialities were both distinctive and very well cooked, full of flavour and well spiced without being too hot . The restaurant does not serve alcohol and was happy for us to... More

Visited this restaurant with colleagues. The service was good and the food was prepared quickly. The food itself was good.

We have regularly eaten at the sharma on the early bird menu. The food is fantastic and an absolute bargain. Service is always friendly and welcoming. It's bit of a hidden gem really.

Recently visited with friends, all ordered different starters and mains, all were delicious especially fish masala starter. Only minus point that prevents me giving 5 stars, the oil that popadoms are cooked in needs changing, gave them unpleasant taste. Service is very good, polite, discreet and professional. £13 each, will return.

This is one of my favourite 'locals'. Wonderful food and excellent value for money. Best of all the staff are some of the best I have ever come across.
