I would highly recommend Anima Restaurant if you visit or stay in the beautiful town of Vilanova I la Geltru. We have been a few times for menu de la dia (€14.50 including drinks) and have never been disappointed. Not only is the food fantastic (fine dining), the service is wonderful, despite speaking very little English they make you feel so welcome. Google translate is all you need if you don't speak any Spanish or Catalan and the menu is easily translated, or just go for it, sometimes it is better not knowing what you order as you end up trying different foods!
Don't be put off with the location, the restaurant is hidden under an apartment block, once inside the warm welcome and great ambience is more important.

Yesterday we had dinner at this restaurant. It is a pleasant restaurant, with good service. We had a very comfortable dinner. Everything we ordered was well prepared and very delicious, including the cheesecake dessert. Totally recommended. We will surely return.

I booked this for 10 via fork. I got confirmation of the booking the day after I booked. When we arrived they claimed they had not received the booking. I showed them the confirmation email and asked if they could accommodate us but no effort was made. This meant 10 hungry people wandering round Villanova looking for somewhere to eat. Overall a terrible experience and I would not recommend.

We had a great evening with a small group of close family and friends with the Bride and Groom the eve before their wedding. The food was delicious and we were very well looked after, including a change of the tables to outside as the weather was amazing. Thanks!

Very cozy restaurant, perfect for families with children... Give special attention to the rice with lobster, which was excellent. Professional, attentive and very friendly staff. Ideal location on the promenade. Great discovery....we will return for sure.
