We managed to persuade the children to give us some space and treating ourselves on a recommendation from people around our pool area to visit this very small quaint romantic restaurant in the middle of Diquesa Port. We were lucky to get an outside table (because we booked two days in advance) and the service was very personal and hugely attentive. The food was excellent. If you are lucky enough to be able to book a table and eating here you will not be disappointed. A bit boring I know but the lasagna was fantastic

This is without doubt the best restaurant in the Port. Andrea and his team provide an excellent service and fantastic food. He has a team of waiters that work "their socks off" providing for every one of their guests and Andrea "bends over backwards" to accommodate everyone that turns up whether they have booked or not. We ate her 5 times in 3 weeks, it is that good. I can't list all the different meals we had but every single one was excellent and vegan son declared "best food I've ever had". Thank you Andrea and thank your team for making our holiday extra special. See you next year!!

Excellent Italian restaurant in the heart of the port with a large outside eating area. We had the carpaccio of beef to start followed by the risotto with clams prawns and veg. Staff were efficient and friendly. It got busy so best to book. Price was 84 euro for 2 including 2 glasses of cava and a bottle of wine.

Tried this restaurant recently. We gave the person in charge our order and requested the fried prawns to share. My husband ordered the pork dish and we requested that all his food must be gluten free. The prawns arrived in batter and the person in charge just shrugged his shoulders and advised him to pick the batter off !! . My husband understandably gave the starter a miss and I was left to eat on my own. We had lost confidence by then and had to keep our fingers crossed that he would not be ill after eating the pork dish , which was swimming in sauce. My tortellini el panna dish only had a few strips of ham. The person in charge is always really friendly , but it is concerning that there does not appear to be an understanding about gluten at this restaurant when it was clearly requested that my husband’s food had to be gluten free. The food is expensive and average here.

We stumbled into this Italian restaurant as our regular choice was closed and we did not regret it.
The food was very fresh and full of flavours from the starters through to the home made dessert. In particular the seafood risotto and mushroom brushcettas were exceptional.
The service was incredible and attentive to every need that we had.
Highly recommended based on our first visit here.

Myself and my wife booked here for our last night in the area having heard good comments on it locally. We had booked for 7pm but arrived at 6, it was no problem. We were looked after by a young waitress who was very nice and genuinely was the nicest and most sincere waitress we encountered on our trip. We didn’t order starters but they gave us a couple of tapas, nice touch. I had the Penne Chef and my wife had seafood spaghetti, both were excellent and at €18 each, represented great value. They were absolutely delicious. We shared a great Tiramisu and all washed down with a couple of glasses of wine, beer and water, total bill €62 plus tip was excellent. I reviewed 10 restaurants in this area over the 3 last weeks and I have only given a 5 star to 2, including here. I will be back.

Sabor Tuscano is an amazing, authentic Italian restaurant serving incredible dishes that use only the highest quality ingredients. Over the years I’ve enjoyed incredible food here, including delicious pastas and salads. Standouts include an orange, balsamic, walnut and Parmesan salad while their Caprese salad uses the finest and quiet possibly the best mozzarella I’ve eaten. The chocolate pudding continues to be one of the most memorable deserts of my lifetime. Just try it and see for yourself, it’s 5 +⭐️

An incredible restaurant, great service with amazing food. We’ve been several times.
I always have a caprese salad and then ravioli, great vegetarian options 💖
In the current scary times, they’re taking extra care, wearing masks, putting distance between tables, etc.

Just had the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.
Asked for a seafood pizza, expecting some prawns and anchovies. Opened the box to find a beautiful fresh, light base, topped with plenty of really tasty, fresh ingredients, prawns, clams mussels in the shell, and more.
Everything about this pizza was perfect.

Just had the best pizza I’ve ever eaten.

We had been recommended this restaurant by some friends and it didn’t disappoint. The initial welcome was a little frosty as we approached the desk. I had enquired as we walked past around 5pm what time they opened to be told 6pm, so after a couple of drinks we headed back at around 6:30. We were asked if we had a reservation, which we didn’t yet there wasn’t a single table occupied, this always tickles me, however I do understand that these tables may have been reserved for later. After a little while they said we could eat but they needed the table back by 8pm latest. We have no issue eating within a 90 minute window and in fact the restaurant delayed things themselves to some degree as we waited a while before they took our order. We also noticed that a few others were turned away without reservation so it’s pretty obvious the restaurant is a popular one. Starters were two types of bruschetta tomato and mushroom, both good albeit Mrs L did say her bread base was a little soggy and no one likes a soggy bottom. Seafood spaghetti was packed with seafood of all varieties and it was an ample portion of pasta and tasty to boot. The ragu gnocchi I ate was also very good indeed. We washed the meal down with a first rate bottle of Pino Grigio blush total bill around €45 pp so not cheap but very good and worth it in my opinion.

So disappointed, a restaurant we have always loved to go to have let us down big time! We booked a table two days ago and at the time they only had one other booking. We asked if we could book a table in a certain area of of the restaurant as we wanted privacy and we’re told we could. If they had said no we would have booked elsewhere. We know they are busy hence booking ahead. We arrived and we’re ushered outside towards the back of the restaurant nowhere near where we had asked for a table. There were spare tables where we asked for and were told those tables were for 4 people (despite watching 2 eat at a table for 4 during the previous hour). When questioned we were told we cannot reserve areas and the waiter ripped up our reservation in front of our faces, so rude. Don’t get me wrong the food is lovely here but customer services is as important as the dishes you serve. We had booked this table due to a family bereavement and they truly let us down 😢

Mi scuso in nome della mia cameriera per non avervi comunicato che non possiamo riservare un tavolo specifico a nessuno per ovvi motivi di lavoro, ma solamente un tavolo, altrimenti con 14 tavoli che abbiamo sarebbe impossibile massimizzare il lavoro, e naturalmente e difficile spiegare tutto questo in inglese , visto che abitualmente credete che in Spagna si debba parlare inglese come prima lingua!! Il tavolo era riservato , a vostra disposizione , solo che non era dove lo volevate, perche eravamo completamente pieni di prenotazioni!! Ci scusiamo , ve ne siete andati e dopo 1 minuto il tavolo e stato occupato da due clienti che vi ringraziano perche hanno passato una serata memorabile!! Che volete son cose che succedono!!! Un saluto Andrea.

It has been over 6 months since we have managed out to Spain and we were glad to see that Sabor Toscana has survived the COVID-19 situation. As always the food here was as good as ever, the wine great value and the service some of the best you will get anywhere. If you haven’t been here before it is one of the best places to eat in Duquesa Marina. They also now do pizza, although we didn’t try one, I am sure we will on our next visit.

Normally Sabor is closed for around 5 weeks at this time of the year but of course COVID-19 has changed all that. Good news for those who are in Spain and in particular Duquesa as this is a bonus to be able to go here right now. We dined last night and tried the new Pizza on the menu, not a traditional one we were told but from the Rome area, well no matter where it came from it was delicious and a great addition to the already excellent menu. As always the atmosphere was good and the food well priced, as is the wine. Hopefully the owners will get a good turn at this time and get a well deserved holiday next year.

We always have a visit here because the food is wonderful and Andrea is a marvellous and delightful person that welcomes us every time we arrive . We visited on a very hot evening and the staff worked tirelessly to ensure everything was out on time . Thankyou as always
