Coming here for 3 year now. Best lobster bisque and gaspaccho. Away from tourist area, a real authentic gem. Freshest fish and always a freshly baked bread. Prices are very different from what you expect, 18 euros for big and tender fillet steak with sauce and vegs.

Lovely fresh fish, excellent service. The baked and salt baked fish specials are to be recommended. Great dining experience. We'd recommend it.

Meson is about a 10 minute walk from the marina but well worth it. We've been there four times now. On entry they seat you and provide on the house dry sherry. The food is a little more expensive and varied compared with the marina mainstream restaurants. Rock fish in green sauce is one our favourites and the lamb cutlets... More

We always visit this restaurant when in DuQuesa and it never disappoints. A very nice complimentary sherry awaits on arrival with olives. The seafood soup is to die for and the swordfish cooked to perfection. A complimentary glass of brandy/Baileys completes the meal. The owners are very pleasant and service very good.

This is a typically Family run Spanish Restaurant with Spanish cuisine, great Paellas ( order the day before) and fish and meat dishes

This was our second visit in a week the first time we were impressed so returned for a second visit. The restaurant although small was very busy. We ordered prawn cocktail starter yet it took about 20 minutes and mine was inedible as the prawns obviously hadn't been washed correctly and were full of grit. I had a frittata for... More

Yes the complimentary sherry is nice. Yes the warm bread rolls are nice (1.50 each) but advertising the baked fish in salt at 35€ then charging 48€ is not nice. Other restaurants locally fillet the fish better and offer much better value. 93€ for two with 2 courses is way too much. We won't be back which is a pity... More

This is a traditional Spanish restaurant in the little fishing village . A welcome sherry on arrival and tapa. A beautifully presented prawn cocktail with a modern twist, no goldfish bowls here . Opted for the sole from a very well thought of menu , small enough to do well but good choices. Came with vegetables and sliced potatoes ,... More

Thanks again Juan for a lovely meal. Excellent care taken again with our daughter who is gluten free. Lovely touch with a complimentary drink and starters. See you again in October.
