The swarm of flies covering the table and buzzing you whilst you eat, is the least of your worries here. If you can imagine eating lunch outside a mud hut in Mali or chad instead of the gorgeous sunny ancient Spanish courtyard facing a charming church, then you get the general idea! I Only mildly exaggerate! Well, to be fair,... More

Had a pleasant enough lunch of rolls and sandwiches here. Set in a square next to the church with a backdrop of the mountains. The rest of the party were complaining about the grumpiness of the staff but it didn't bother me. All in all the lovely setting is such that you'd forgive a lot. Wouldn't be coming here to... More

Walked in without booking , February mid week. It seemed very quiet but it was a pleasant setting sitting outside in the square with the church bells chiming every so often. Menu was a bit limited but varied and the service was pretty quick. Food was very basic and the presentation even more so. Asked for wine recommendation but the... More

What a lovely setting: glorious Sunday morning outside on the square in front of the Catholic Church with its open door and the sound of Mass emanating. Iconic stuff. So far so good. Then try ordering coffee in your best attempts at Spanish, which I believe all we Brits should at least try to do. Response: frosty impatience at best.... More

After enjoying an amazing Dolphin/Whale watching trip, my girlfriend a I looked around for somewhere for lunch. All the place looked similar and we ended up just going here for convenience sake. We had a mushroom and ham pizza that was flat, heavy and basically just topped with cheese. The service was fine and setting pleasant, but I would avoid... More

I wasn't too clear about the status of the three, apparently connected, Asturia establishments: there seems to be a Restaurant, a Snack Bar and an Autoservicio, all called Asturia and sharing an area of tables and chairs. We sat at one side and were served by a waitress from the Autoservicio/Patisserie section, which was fine because we only wanted a... More

Enjoyed dinner here with family last week. Ate outside and enjoyed the Specials Goat dish offered that day. Was wonderful moist and tender, also very tasty. Mum enjoyed gambas starter with garlic so most dishes were all enjoyed. We ate here twice and on my first visit I had the Hake off the menu. A disaster for me as I... More

Had one of my best steaks here. Would highly recommend this restaurant. The atmosphere was fantastic, I would recommend for you to come before 8pm as it's very hard to get a table after 8pm. We were lucky!

In good position on the square by the Church with other restaurants nearby. Service was OK, considering the restaurant was not full could have been better. Most tables outside with limited inside space, Childrens menu available. Good range from main menu. Food was average on the whole though 2 people in our group had Sole which they said was delicious.... More
