Hotel is ok, nice clean rooms. The restaurant is an other story, you better avoid it. The food is tasteless and overpriced. So many much better restaurants to visit in burgundy, espesially at this price level.More

We needed quick lunch and we dropped in. It has a nice inside environment and also terrance. The service was nice, friendly and fast. Good menu but relatively expensive. Epoisse cream was a highlight! Highly recommended.

We stayed at the hotel and had dinner. overall a very underwhelming experience. a rather tasteless mackrel tartare with something resembling cucumber granita. both extremely tasteless. a chicken ballotine with langoustine wasnt too bad but completey ruined by the cress with the harsh stems still...on. Dont knownif it was lazyness or just an uninspired evening. very underwhelmed.More

This was our fast visit. The food was truly excellent - with good yet pleasantly informal (in the sense of friendly and professional) service. The restaurant itself is very well organised; the layout of the room is good with the right amount of space between...the tables. The wine list is amazing and the sommelier is knowledgeable: I recommend the Aloxe-Corton (you can see the chateau from the hotel). We dined here three nights.More

Great restaurant, excellent kitchen, also taking the smaller ones into account (without going full kid-menu ...). Always happy to return for an excellent diner! Same goes for the hotel ...

We had a wonderful dinner at this restaurant, and chose the Menu de l’Ermitage. One of the entrees was a bit of a disapoitment, the Lobster ravioli / fennel. It was very small, and you couldn't tast the lobster because of the anis flavor. All...other plates were very good! It was bit too formal for us but the service was very good and the Alox Corton wine that was recommended to us was great. Difinitly would come back to this restaurant if we will be there again.More

Staying locally we managed to get in via a cancellation: next time we shall pre-book. We found it pleasant to be in a smallish (?40 covers) restaurant that had a ring of the past. A decent space between most tables, classic decoration with a high...- but not excessively so - ceiling and no music. During a pre-dinner drink in a pleasant bar, we had plenty of time to choose from the menu and enjoy looking through an extensive wine list. We opted for two of the set menus and everything we were served was good. Nothing too clever: well presented dishes with the focus on the ingredients. Attention to detail was clear. The meals came at a speed consistent with being cooked for us. My only criticism is that some little serving touches were missing which, I suspect, was down to some of the team being still in training. For example we had to ask for more water and the plates took a while to be cleared. But that detracted little from a good experience.More

All stars! We enjoyed two amazing gourmet dinners at this restaurant. One was delivered to our room where we dined on a private balcony overlooking beautiful golden vineyards. Fresh seafood, fabulous sauces, unforgettable desserts.

In the middle of Bourgogne vineyards we stopped for a nice 3 course lunch. Place looks amazing and food is great too. Starter salmon was tasteful and duck as our main was perfectly cooked and very tasty. Staff is great too. Manager or the owner...was also very atentive and polite.. Really great place ..)))More

We've eaten here a couple of times before this year and had never been disappointed until now. To be sure, everything that came out of the kitchen was excellent -- completely. However the service was slow and we had trouble getting the attention of the...wait staff. There was a water carafe sitting next to our table and the glass was cloudy, maybe not dirty, but unattractive. Our initial server that poured our wine (by the glass) poured a teaspoon of lees along with the wine in one of our glasses and went to get another bottle to top it off. He wasn't unpleasant when we asked him to start over but he wasn't the least bit apologetic. We weren't offered additional bread though the table next to us had several trips to the bread basket. I think this may have just been an off day and I'm sure this review will disappoint but we want this restaurant to be clean and successful.More

We had been touring the Beaune region and looking for a lunch venue when we came upon L'Ermitage de Corton. It looked a bit more upmarket than we'd planned, but we entered anyway and received a friendly greeting. We chose the very good value Menu...du Jour and the food was excellent - traditional snails and magret de cannard, both beautifully presented, followed by a lovely dessert. The wine list was amazing, ranging from well priced village wines to some of the best Grand Cru labels. The table service was very good and the restaurant setting allowed lovely views over vineyards displaying their colourful autumn foliage. A most enjoyable meal.More
