Visited late lunch time. Restaurants on the front were very busy and to be honest we thought we had sat at the restaurant next door as the tables were similar. Need to look at the sun brolly!! We decided to stay as there wasn't any where else free. We ordered a couple of beers and a couple of salads. The... More

Enjoyed a lovely lunch in this restaurant which is on the seafront with an excellent view. Lovely mussels and garlic prawns. Wine good value for money and very pleasant. We also found the service efficient and friendly. The only problem was the cigarette smoke - the one table available was clearly on the wrong side of the frontage.

We went here on our first night, and thoroughly enjoyed it. We had dinner and a couple of beers whilst looking out over the beach. The service was friendly and not rushed, and the food was good.

We've eaten here a few times for lunch. Unfortunately for anyone wanting a review we've been unable to get past the excellent salad choices, but they really are the best we've found. My especial favourite is the goats cheese and tomato with walnut, pesto and honey dressing (it's the local goats cheese which is similar to mozzarella or halloumi in... More

Spontaneously my family of five decided to eat dinner at Gondola II. No waiter came to assist us with seating and after we started to make our own arrangement the older amongst the three working there stressed around us with an upset face. He threw the beverage coasters on the table and took our orders for drinks without looking at... More

We visited the lovely La Gomera in May 2015 and fell in love with the island. We enjoyed Valle Gran Rey and especially the district La Playa where Gondola II is situated. They have good food, reasonable prices and nice and quick service. Try the foccacia or the salads with delicious avocado.

We went here almost day during our two weeks long stay and enjoyed the wonderful seafood .One evening bream , the other sea bass. Both times served grilled on platter with island potatoes , mojo salad , fresh lemon and sauces --nothing further required other than a bottle of house wine .Value for money incredible

Try the chicken stuffed with advocado and prawns - friendly staff. A very Italian feel to the menu for something different.
