We did a day trip from San Diego, visiting 3 wineries in the Valle, this was our 2nd favorite. Wine preference is very personal, but our group of 6 all felt this wine to be unique and many of us had not tried natural wines before. As I recall winery and food truck are separate businesses but worth seeing the beautiful reclaimed architecture of the wine tasting and labeling area. The beer was excellent and nice break from day of wine. They do ship wine to US. Tacos, fries, oysters were all delicious,fresh and service was good.

Read about the awesome reviews here so decided we’d give it a go. 100%. We got the cabbage, pork belly and fried fish. The first two were phenomenal, the fried fish was good but the first two… yumm. Don’t miss out

Nice lunch spot

We made sure to stay for lunch after our wine tasting at Vena Cava. We sat outside at the picnic tables, played games and enjoyed some lunch. Make sure to dress for the weather. It is cool here.

Tasty seafood at a great price!

Outstanding food in a lovely location. Sadly the wines at the winery were only ok, but it is worth the visit for the food and the views. Oysters, both raw and grilled, we're amazing, as were the shrimp.

I was completely disappointed and frustrated to learn that while wine tasting our elders who stayed behind with the grandchildren, were not allowed to sit on the empty benches of Troika. It was highly inconsiderate, given they had assured us prior to the tasting they can sit and rest.

Great food and prices were not bad, but they took 45 minutes to bring us a 'Tartar de Res'. Table next to us were also asking for their food.

One of the best food trucks anywhere!

A permanent fixture at the Vena Cava winery, Troika isn't limited to Russian or Mexican fare - it is very global! From duck (delicious) to risotto to amazing mushrooms, everyone at our table was blown away by how delicious everything was! Quite fancy preparations from a food truck too! You need to "off road" a bit to get to Vena Cava but well worth the bumps.

Wonderful street food!!

Had pork tacos, 4 to an order. Had tostada's with pulpo and 6 grilled oysters. We had wine and beer with our meal. The food was wonderful and the service was just as good.

Delicious Light Bites

We stopped by Vena Cava mid day - after a long day of travel and some wine we decided to share some bites! We had the octopus tostada and the ceviche both were incredibly fresh and tasty. If you're traveling off the beaten path in Valle, I highly recommend this as an option!

Food truck at the price of a restaurant

We came here prior to tasting at Vena Cava to try and have a more casual and cheaper lunch. What we got was small portions of fairly average food for no less than you would pay in a restaurant, with compulsory table service (and hence required tip).

We are sorry your experience was not good. Our food truck works with local producers, a lot of organic products, always with the sustainable vision, so if you look for a cheaper lunch, we could recommend other places. Tip should never be required, and we will let the manager know about this issue. We appreciate your comment.

Amazing Food in a Cool Setting

Delicious food! Everything we ordered was delicious. We ordered aguachiles, lechon tacos, pulpo tostadas, and beer. Definitely not to miss if you're wine tasting at Vena Cava. Also, service was exceptional...it was pretty cold that evening and they instantly brought out blankets. Nice touch!

Arriving at this place was a very pleasant surprise. Maybe a bit far from the center, but worth 100%. The food is excellent, the DJ, craft beer or wine, and the commitment of its people to make Troika an excellent choice. I recommend it
