There it was, down a few steps and into a gorgeous restaurant, with marvelous views and superb food. There are several restaurants in Competa but this one was so good we had to go twice. Don't miss it

This restaurant was recommended to us by our hosts Jo and Graham at La Vista. We had already eaten several tapas earlier in the day so just opted for mains and a wonderful bottle of vino Tinto 'Habla del Silencio' from Extramadura region. I had the NZ rack of lamb which was cooked to perfection and my wife had the... More

A firm favourite restaurant for myself and friends visiting from the UK. It was a busy Friday evening with one large group but the service as always, superb. Dani and his team looked after us so well. The food as always, delicious: full of flavour and piping hot. We enjoyed the extra benefit of Iive music from Oliver who was... More

A large group of us had dinner there - we had pre-ordered so were fairly easy for them to manage. Everyone enjoyed their meal and the service was good. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Would recommend.

I have been an off and on patron. Never since turning vegan a year and half ago. It has changed owners in past 5 years. Lots of BBQ. Service is generally poor and depending on who serves you, even rude. I will never go there again. Rude waitresses, Spanish or not, should not be allowed to roam free in this... More

We went here 2 times because the food was great, the staff very friendly and efficient. Their selfmade limoncello (on the house) was absolutely delicious.

We visited El Pilon during our stay in Competa and were not disappointed. I regret I was there only once as the food was simply delicious! The stuff and atmosphere was great. We was lucky as it was first Thursday the restaurant was opened. As for starter we get the Pil-Pil Gambas and Fried Goat's cheese and the main courses... More

We ate at El Pilon on the recommendation of our hosts at La Vista and were not disappointed. The food is lovely with a good vegetarian choice and the host Loli makes you feel very welcome. The views of the village while enjoying the food added to the experience.

Description
We are located in an old carpenters workshop, built into the rocks over 200 years ago. We prepare all food freshly and to order so if you are in for fast food, El Pilon will not suit your needs. We source as much of our food locally when possible. El Pilon is a relaxed kind of place where you can enjoy the views, a bottle of wine, and conversations with friends and family. We also have Wi Fi. If our service and food does not satisfy you please advise rus and we will always do our best to rectify any problem immediately.
