We went for dinner. The first thing I didn’t like was that the tables were very small, I usually order one more. The waiter didn't come for a very long time. Having placed an order, we waited for it for 25 minutes, then we heard the news that this dish was not available. We wanted to leave, but changed our minds. From the new order I really liked the Thai eggplant salad, I recommend it. The dishes on the grill are not bad, you can eat them. As an apology from the establishment, we were treated to Napoleon cakes, which by the way were very tasty, and tea. There is always live music playing on the Veranda, there are a lot of people, the average bill is moderate compared to its neighbors. If you want to have dinner and dance, this is the place for you.

I want to share my opinion about this establishment; today, July 29, I visited this restaurant with my dear mother. We ordered two dishes each, a salad and a main course, and the drinks included watermelon lemonade and homemade compote (as I understand it.) Of course, orders take a long time to prepare, but it’s clearly worth it. The staff is friendly, nice waiters, I want to give them credit, I’m glad that the girl who served me knows the menu, I don’t know about the others, but she was obviously good. The design of the room is beautiful, there is a choice of where you can sit for a meal, they will specially take you to an empty table and give you several sheets of menu, the menu is good, but the obvious disadvantage is that it is not written down what is included in certain dishes, you obviously need to add this to the menu , after all, allergy sufferers clearly exist in our world and will be happy, for example, to read what is included in a dish and ask to exclude it from it. Beautiful music that is pleasant to the ears, I like to listen to it while I sit and enjoy my food. The prices are good, acceptable. I can’t say how much our check came out at the end, but everything is fine. This is our first time here, and most likely our last time, because we came on an excursion ourselves and dropped in here. I recommend this place to visit, with a group, alone, with your family or with your significant other. I rate it 10/10.

A place from the past, but not in a good way. The booking conditions are strange - prepayment and a mandatory order for 5000 rubles. This already raises questions. Somehow it is not modern and not relevant in our time. We sat in some abandoned corner, behind the musicians, where they were fixing their makeup, without the atmosphere of a restaurant, as if in a cleaning room (advice: don’t sit there at all!). No food. Doesn't give the impression of restaurant food. Poor dining room. Buratta and sesame do not go well at all (change the supplier of buratta cheese! It’s no good, tasteless), veal kebab is just a disgrace to the cook. The price level does not correspond to the level of the cuisine at all. Compared to other places nearby - the worst menu and location. No flair. Without soul. The menu is weak, not modern, the dishes are tasteless. Probably the emphasis of the owners is not on the kitchen, but on the musicians who are trying very hard and trying to pull this place together. Conclusion: a wretched cafe with a Soviet-style show program. Older, inexperienced people will probably like it. Advice: as you develop, hire a modern chef, new progressive managers!
The veranda did not live up to expectations
Complete disappointment!!!

We had been passing that cafe every time when we happened to be in the heart of Kislovodsk. One day we finally made up our mind to enter and order food: two soups and flatbread.
At first everything was fine, both bowls of soup were served decently, looked tasty, so was the flatbread. But having started the meal, a cockroach was found in one of soups. We hardly believed our eyes. Yes it was cockroach indeed, well boiled if you need such detail. Means it got there while the soups was being prepared.
We calmly informed our waiter about this unpleasant situation, pointed at the cockroach. Our waiter immediately took the bowl and disappeared with it without saying a word, without explaining anything. We had been left stunned, waiting for somebody from management to approach our table start any conversation.
Time was running but nothing was happening to us. We were left to ourselves. Surely we both had ceased eating altogether at the moment we found the cockroach, none of us was willing to continue our meal. Strangely our waiter was blithely serving other tables; it seemed that our table disappeared for him along with its visitors meaning us.
I had to leave our table thrice and prowl between other tables in attempt to find somebody from cafe's management. On the third attempt I finally drew their attention.
The person who approached us heartfelt excused, said that was the first time in his life when he saw a cockroach in a dish, that their kitchen is impeccably clean, nearly sterile. Of course he did, what else would he say?
But regardless whether that was the first time indeed or rather not, our meal was completely ruined. Since the moment we saw that insect in one of bowls we refrained from touching anything on the table.
That person in charge tried replacing the soup and offering a dessert as an apology, but like I said, we refused eating anything in that cafe.
We stood our ground that we were not going to pay for their questionable food. After second attempt we were informed that we were free to go without paying for the meal with cockroach.
So, let me summarize. We were anticipating great food in this cafe, in the heart of Kislovodsk. And initially the food looked appetizing and tasted not bad indeed until that cockroach was discovered. This is the only reason why I rated this place with two stars instead of one.

The price does not correspond to the quality. The service is honestly second to none. We really need to improve the level of service. They bring a bottle of wine, open it and let's drink into the glasses. When you stop and say, stop, first a little to try the quality, they don’t even understand what they’re talking about. For 2 cream soups, our friends were brought one small plate with croutons for the soup. They say we put 2 servings in one for you. Well, it's complete nonsense. We ordered two grilled lamb dishes. We were offered to put them on one plate right away. The question is, what kind of mania is it to pour everything into one dish? According to this league, give us the entire order in one pot and 4 forks/spoons. Well, is that normal?)
Pricing for barbecue per 100 grams, but when the receipt for 2 such portions costs exactly 300 grams, also raises questions. For lamb 5 pistols (cutlets on the bone) 1470 rubles. It's a bit much. You can be a little more modest in price if the service is not up to par.

27.07.2024 came at 19:00 to celebrate their birthday. I'll start with the unpleasant (but that's my opinion, some might disagree). For 4 people brought 1 bar card, ticket-time for dishes not voiced. When the waiter was caught himself, only the time of barbecue was mentioned, although there were other items on the order. When accepting the order, the waiter advised barbecue, which we didn't even consider, was said to be delicious, worth a taste. We took it and didn't understand why she was even advising it, when the regular pork barbecue we originally chose and also ordered tasted a lot better (but it's understandable that there may be flavor here, specifically 4 of us no one liked this meat). When the check arrived, it became clear why, because what she advised cost about 1.5 times more than what we originally chose (for 300gr ~2000p). Then with one of the drinks: ordered mojito citrus 250ml. The waiter offered 0.5, which isn't on the menu, said we could do more. It was punctured as just 2 positions that could have been warned. Obviously, 250ml is not much, and we would order more, but the situation itself is very, very bad. Next, they asked for a barrel cucumber to the vodka, like an appetizer if you had one. The waiter, calling it salenya or something, put the dish in the order. As a result, they brought an appetizer with tomatoes, cabbage, peppers and no cucumbers, fun, but okay. When calculating, no one felt the need to ask feedback. But what really outraged me was that right before the count, I asked for a tropical mojito takeout, decided to try a different flavor. The waiter brought a glass where you could see it was the same citrus. I asked her if it was definitely a tropical one, not the one that was already there. She faltered, but looking at me, she said it was the tropics. I thought, well, everything happens, maybe I can't feel the difference, went to the main hall to use the bathroom because we were on the veranda, but while I was standing in line, I decided to come to the bar to ask what it tasted like, explaining the situation. The bartenders showed me the receipt where the wrong mojito was punched. So the waiter stood there and brazenly lied to my face so they wouldn't hang this joint on her, bravo. The visit left an unpleasant sediment, and if you take into account the fact that you came to celebrate your birthday, the oil painting in general(

We chose this restaurant based on high ratings, but in the end, dinner here was very disappointing. Firstly, it was extremely cold on the veranda on a rainy evening; there weren’t enough heaters for everyone. Secondly, the service is extremely slow, starting from serving the menu and taking the order, ending with the payment. The food itself was also underwhelming, for example my dolma was very hard and mostly consisted of leaves. Overall we were not happy with the dinner

The first line on the menu offers “Veranda Shashlik” - 990 rubles for 300 g. In the same section of the menu there is “grilled sausages, baked potatoes”, where the weight of sausages and potatoes separately is indicated separately - so logically it turns out that the weight actually for the barbecue.
They brought three small pieces of meat and baked vegetables with pickled onions. To the question “is this 300 grams?” the waitress replied that the entire portion weighed so much and did not say anything when she took the order, because she thought that this was not our first time and we were aware. So when ordering, you need to clarify what is included in the dish.
Otherwise the food and service are quite good

Unfortunately, we weren’t even able to eat at this establishment. We wanted to sit in the evening on our daughter’s birthday. We went in the afternoon to reserve a table. They asked us everything, chose a table, wrote down our phone number, we had to make an advance payment and then it turns out: it turns out that we need to eat for 4500 rubles in the evening, otherwise goodbye. Well, goodbye.
We need to talk about such things right away.

Terrible! We waited 40 minutes for coffee, they brought pumpkin soup - it was impossible to eat! This is not a cream soup, but an incomprehensible substance! Everything is terrible, they brought pasties - it’s impossible to eat! Zero service!

The menu was brought quickly, but the waiter himself was not very friendly. The beef on the grill was too much to chew. They completely forgot to bring out the lemonade. Considering the price-quality ratio, the price is very high. The restaurant in Moscow was much tastier and cheaper.

One of the most favorite places in Kislovodsk. Always very tasty, pleasant service, delicious food, music at the highest level, live in the evenings. The veranda is located in the very center of Kislovodsk, on the Boulevard. The prices are reasonable.

The menu was brought quickly, the button to call the waiter apparently did not work, they pressed it 3 times, and therefore not every second. They accepted the order, saying that the drinks would be brought when ready. The wait was long, the salads had already been brought, but there were still no drinks; it was unlikely that coffee and tea would take very long to prepare. The salad was too salty, the sea buckthorn tea was sour. They asked me to bring sugar, but at the same time they had already taken away all the utensils. They asked for spoons to stir the sugar, to which the waiter replied “try it in a bite,” lump sugar, this, of course, was the last straw. True, they brought the bill very quickly, they didn’t keep us waiting. Eat your own sugar in a bite

Delicious shashlik, river trout on the grill, aromatic salads and a good selection of wine. A very cozy place - for couples and friendly groups; families with children are also welcome here. In the evening - live music (and dancing). The location is convenient - near the Narzan Gallery and Kurortny Boulevard. By the way, you can have dinner before leaving - the cafe is just on the road to the station. The average price tag for a good dinner is 2600-3000 (with alcohol).

It's all flowing like a canteen. Prepared in advance, hence you do not get fresh. I took the Baku salad, the lineup says Baku tomatoes, brought the salad regular tomatoes, and not yet ripe. Ordered a pilaf, brought in before I finished the salad. And this is a restaurant. Azerbaijani pilaf is basically just boiled rice without the addition of butter and turmeric. They put raisins, curaga, four dates around. 5 small pieces of lamb, half a piece of fat. And the lamb is dry, cooked once, so it's dry, hard, not delicious.
I don't recommend it. They take the money like a restaurant, basically a dining room.
