A fantastic little restaurant in Samui, the best thing being that you can choose your spice levels from a smaller but still extensive menu. Great service from lovely people too.

In three separate trips to Koh Samui, Baan Ya Jai has become my ‘go to’ restaurant for consistently outstanding food and wonderful service. The food has never let me down in my 8 to 10 visits. Fresh, tasty, innovative Thai at a very reasonable price...point. The staff are wonderful - always smiling, willing to share a conversation and a joke. As a solo traveller, their contribution to each night was very much appreciated. A special shout out to the Myanmar crew - love your cheery attitude and helpful advice. Great Thai food, unfortunately, we were surrounded by bugs (Seated upstairs) and it was uncomfortable to eat.

Recommended by our hotel and it did not disappoint! Food was delicious, served quickly and great service! Would highly recommend!

We loved this place so much! We went here 4 nights in a row as the food was so awesome and all the waitstaff (especially Wim and Cho) were so friendly with our toddler (who always loved to make a mess). They made sure they...always had his bowl of rice ready when we arrived. We loved this place so much we didn’t want to eat anywhere else during our stay in Samui! The best Thai food I’ve ever tasted! Fresh food, every dish has so much flavour. The steamed fish is the best I’ve ever tasted. Well priced, friendly staff.

Delicious. Traditional thai food. Curry, seafood and much more. Prices were not very cheap but ok. I would definately go again.

Amazing food and the staff very helpful with telling us what the best food is for each spice level. They let you choose a spice level for whatever dish you order - which is amazing! Must visit if here. & they serve wine😆

Went to Baan Ya Jai for dinner with the family. Overall, the quality of the food as well as the service was really great. Thai food as you expect it. We ordered vegetable spring rolls and minced chicken with basil for starters. for the main...course we ordered vegeterian panang curry, chicken panang curry, shrimp curry and tom yum goong soup. all delicious and very well presented. the mango sticky rice for dessert was excellent. All in all great food at very reasonable prices. Would strongly recommend to visit Baan Ya Jai if you are looking for very good thai food.More
