I came here the other day with my lovely wife. we were expecting a nice calm atmosphere to enjoy our wine (as it says in the name). we were absolutely outraged that it took 15 minutes for them to do the simplest task of pouring me a glass of pinot noir. left after i drunk it and will not be... The "Sip" was the best rum drink on the island. Juliette was the sweetest waitress we had. Their rum cake was also delicious. Nice place to stop in if you are in town and just need a relaxing break...you might find yourself staying a couple of hours.

We were subjected to a trainee to cook our breakfast, and to be fair, you wonder who was doing the training. The toast was ok and that was about it. A lovely lady serving who had the most disarming smile. You felt sorry for her. More training required.

I am so sorry that you had a less than satisfactory breakfast. We have sorted the issues with the kitchen staff and hope that you give us a second chance on your next visit. More

This place is fun. Didn't eat here but others said food is very good. Had drinks and enjoyed the crowd which is mostly locals and seasonally "locals". Check out joining the sip sip sot club.

My wife and I had a very relaxing lunch here last Thursday while visiting Hope Town (stayed in nearby marina). We ordered the Conch "flitters" and the Chicken, spinach, pesto and artichoke flatbread, with glasses of the house Sauvignon blanc, Cabernet and Merlot. All the food was delicious and the house wines were an expecially good value at $5/glass. They... More

We stopped at the Sip Sip Wine Bar for lunch with our party of 10. We sat at a lovely table with banquette seating piled high with turquoise pillows. Very comfortable. The ambiance of the restaurant was friendly and welcoming. The waitress was cheerful and extremely helpful. Everyone loved their food. A very enjoyable time on a leisurely island afternoon.... More

If you are looking for excellent food, great wine selection, a cozy setting, lot's of friendly people, reasonable prices (For Hope Town) and no view, this is the place to come. Bonnie and Arnold have created a very special place in Hope Town for those of us that are not content with the usual fried food fare and thin beer.... More

This seems to be the place where many of the expat community congregate for drinks on a Friday early evening. We enjoyed some nice wine here but the room is dark noisy and hot, so difficult to converse.

Thank you for visiting Sip-Sip on your trip to Hope Town. Yes, Friday early evening can be crazy with the SOT gathering. I hope on your next trip to our island you join us on another night! More
