A nice meal of baked trout with very tasty fried vegetables and potatoes; service efficient and attentive, despite it being fairly crowded when we arrived. Though we live nearby this hadn't been one of our regular places to dine out; it will be now.

Inside and outside seating. Excellent menu including children's section. Good range of beers and wine. Fast efficient service, even when busy. Best to reserve especially at the weekend. Combine with a walk through the woods opposite.

The restaurant has a nice and pleasant room, a good menu with recipes that sound very good but the food is tasteless. It is well presented but all the taste has gone. It is a pity because the menu sounds really great.
