We ate here for a family meal one sunday evening, the food was excellent with lovely fresh ingredients and beautifully presented. Jhual goes out of his way to make customers feel welcome as do all of the staff. Maldon Tandoori isn't the cheapest Indian restaurant...More

The restaurant is really nice and clean. The food was not at all spicy like I was expecting - asked for Jalfrezi type curry sauce with the Biryani and it was just plain. Didn't have dessert.

Good service, with a sense of humour thrown in, which I liked. Great food. Reminded me that UK curry houses are a few notches up from those we enjoy in our native Perth Australia.

Some good sauces and good rice. Chicken with chilli and garlic very nice. Jalfrezi very disappointing. All of the chicken was tough. Maldon is not short of Indian takeaways/restaurants. Try somewhere else.

We ate here with our six year old granddaughter and her father on a Saturday night and all had an enjoyable time. The welcome was warm but not pushy. The little welcome drink is a nice gesture. Every thing was tasty and immaculately clean and...More

We frequently take our grand-daughter (age two and a half) to the Maldon Tandoori. We all enjoy the food and the staff are very polite and helpful. An excellent place to eat.

Welcome to The Award Winning Maldon Tandoori Our restaurant was established by my brother and myself in 1987 following the vision of our father who had a passion for cooking. The main cuisine is Indian/ Bangladeshi. Being from Bangladesh we have great expertise in traditional home-made food and regularly promote Bangladesh nights bringing the authentic foods to our customers. We serve dishes made to customer's specific requirements, including anything from mild chicken Korma to hot and spicy chicken Naga. Our most popular dishes are Tandoori chicken Bhuna Balti and Tandoori King Prawn Jalfrezy Balti. We only use the finest king prawns from Bangladesh which are noted for their freshness and size. Many of our ingredients are sourced locally, although some specialist ingredients come from our suppliers in East London. We have many customers as friends at Maldon Tandoori and hope to make many more. We hope to see you soon.
