Visited The Queens head for lunch mid week whist off work following an operation . The reason I say this is because the staff were so helpful. I needed a slightly higher chair and they were so accommodating moving furniture around. The lunch time menu offered ample choice and the food was very nice. The setting looking out over the... I was taken out for a late birthday meal at the Queens head on a sunny Monday lunch time. We dined out on the patio by the boats.. Good food and beer and excellent service. Would certainly return for another visit.

This is a great local pub serving a real solid English roast an local ales...a very friendly place. Thoroughly enjoyed the fun friendly atmosphere and chatting with the Maldonians, although I do not speak the language so well. Much thanks

Lunch with friends who live locally. The food is cooked to order. There is a wide choice and at £12 for most main courses, some are cheaper, excellent value. Excellent views over the river watching the boats entering and leaving the port.

We have visited several times and food is consistently good. Service is quick and courteous. We had fish for lunch (as usual) and it was best quality freshly cooked in a light batter. We were too full for pudding. Main course a bit dearer than some places but worth every penny!

We went to the Queen's Head on the first really hot Saturday of the year and the pub was very busy. That said, we didn't have to wait to order at the bar and our food was served promptly. It is really refreshing to go somewhere that invests in training their staff properly! The Queen's Heas is a pub pub... More

Just had a late dinner at this lovely pub. The food was really a good price and delicious. What made the visit was the friendly and helpful waitress who looked after us. She was smashing. Will go again.
